The many 2019 player disappointments for the Cardinals

There some bright spots, but there were nearly a dozen players who didn’t work out the way they were expected to.

Crabtree signed with the Cardinals after two rounds of negotiations and was supposed to be the veteran receiver to produce early. He couldn’t beat out the rookies for playing time and apparently was not a good fit in the locker room. He was cut and the Cardinals had to eat his salary because he was a vested veteran who was on the roster in Week 1.
