Twitter turned Will Smith into the 2020 version of the crying Jordan meme and it’s hilarious

How unfortunate.

The Will Smith memes have only existed for just under 24 hours now but we can already tell that this is going to last for a while.

Smith appearance on Jada Pinkett-Smith’s Red Table Talk showwhere the couple talked about their split and Jada Pinkett-Smith’s relationship — or “entanglement” — with August Alsina. They had an interesting conversation about it, certainly. And points were definitely made.

However, we are here to talk about absolutely none of that.

What we are here for to discuss, folks, is how the internet took a heartfelt conversation between Will Smith and his wife and turned him into the new crying Jordan meme of 2020.

During the conversation the two were having, Pinkett-Smith began to describe her relationship with Alsina as an “entanglement.” While she explained, Will Smith made this face.

And this one.

Now, to be clear, there was no beef between these two during this conversation. They were broken up. It was fine for Jada to be in a relationship with whoever she wanted.

But this is the internet. And in this digital world we live in, jokes are much, much better than facts. And so all the jokes poured in. Twitter went crazy.

But then, even outside of their conversation, the meme just took on a life of its own. Smith’s face became the internet’s face for 2020.

Throw this one in the Twitter history books, folks. We’ll be seeing it for years to come.

Will Smith gives the world a ‘Men in Black’ Wipe it Down Challenge

Good one, Agent J.

Actor and rapper Will Smith is really good at social media — remember when the Philadelphia native chronicled his reactions to the Eagles’ run to a Super Bowl?

So of course he’s submitted a solid TikTok, following so many others who are posting Wipe It Down challenge entries.

As a reminder: the challenge consists of filming yourself wiping down a mirror, and on certain swipes, you reveal a different image. Smith’s alternate was himself in Men in Black, with a punchline that showed his Agent J using that flashing light thing at the end of the video.

Good work right here.

NBA2K video of Philly’s Will Smith balling in 76ers gear gets released

An NBA2K20 gets released of Philadelphia native Will Smith balling in a 76ers uniform gets released.

There is no basketball going on right now so we all have to turn our attention to other things to pass the time and find our entertainment. So, a video is out floating out there of Philadelphia native, and 76ers fan, Will Smith has been released of the rapper/actor balling in the game in 76ers gear.

On top of that, the video is set to Smith’s rap verse on the latest song “Will” by Joyner Lucas featuring Smith himself. To Smith’s credit, the verse is catchy and the flow is spot on so it goes perfectly with the video and it looks very smooth and clean.

The Fresh Prince. 🔥 🔥 (via @shady00018_)

There are signs that the NBA could be on the verge of a return, but all of that will, obviously, be dependant on the virus and on testing. Hopefully, the 2019-20 season can resume and if it does, it gives the Sixers a chance to see what their team can do in a playoff setting. [lawrence-related id=31215,31207,31193]

Watch Will Smith and the Fresh Prince cast get emotional watching Uncle Phil

It just got a little dusty in here.

Believe it or not, it’s been 30 years since the first season of the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air aired on television. If you were a kid growing up in the 90’s, there’s a strong chance that the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air was one of your favorite shows growing up.

Earlier this week while on quarantine, the members of the cast celebrated their 30 year anniversary in a Zoom call that was broadcasted live on Snapchat.

During the call, the crew recalled some of their best memories of the show and some of their best times with James Avery — aka Uncle Phil — who passed away in 2013.

They got a chance to watch some of those memories and, man, did things get emotional. Take a look.

That just makes me teary…James Avery, James Avery, James Avery.” – Will Smith

What a moment. Nah, I’m not crying. It’s just the pollen outside. Wait, it’s raining? I meant to say it was a bit dusty in here, that’s all.

Avery was the rock that really held things down for the crew as Uncle Phil on set and as Avery off of it. He meant a lot to both the crew and fans of the show. It’s cool to see the rest of the cast paying homage like this.

Steph Curry reacts on social media after being cleared to return from injury

Stephen Curry went to social media after being cleared to return to the Warriors after missing 58 games due to injury.

After missing 58 games with the Golden State Warriors, Stephen Curry is scheduled to make his long-awaited return to the court. The Warriors cleared Curry to play against the Toronto Raptors on Thursday night.

The two-time Most Valuable Player has gone through a long four-month rehab that recently led him to Santa Cruz.

Curry worked out with the Warriors G League affiliate in Santa Cruz for a day of practice. The six-time All-Star went through a five-on-five scrimmage against the Santa Cruz Warriors to ramp up his conditioning before returning to NBA action.

The Davidson product has been traveling with the Warriors on the road and going through a pregame shooting routine before his teammates take the floor.

Curry crossed off the final step in his recovery when Golden State officially cleared him to return when the defending champion Toronto Raptors come to Chase Center in San Francisco.

The three-time champion went to social media to celebrate his return to the court with an “about time” custom video.

Curry will have 20 games left remaining on the schedule to build chemistry with his new teammates and find a rhythm with his surgically repaired hand.

Just about everyone in the world knows about the whacked 1994 figure skating soap opera

As You Turn and Turn and Turn: Figure skating rivals Harding v. Kerrigan. But this showcases the backstory, which is coldly dark and weirdly, wildly comical, and features an Oscar-winning performance by Allison Janney as Harding’s mother.

Will Smith reflects on starring in ‘Bad Boys’ with Martin Lawrence in 1995 on ‘The Shop’

The stars of the Bad Boys franchise will both be guests on the latest episode of HBO/UNINTERRUPTED’s ‘The Shop’ with LeBron James.

The latest episode of HBO and UNINTERRUPTED’s ‘The Shop,’ may be the most star-studded version of the show ever as some of the biggest stars in entertainment join LeBron James and Maverick Carter in a new episode that is set to premiere on Saturday night.

Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, C.C. Sabathia, and Chance The Rapper will join LeBron, Carter and the show’s co-creator Paul Rivera on Saturday night’s episode. HBO released a trailer of what viewers will be able to see on Saturday night at 10 p.m. EST on all of HBO’s platforms. In the trailer, Will Smith reflected on what it was like starring in “Bad Boys” with Martin Lawrence, a movie with two black lead actors, back in 1995.

The timing of getting Smith and Lawrence together was not accidental. The third installment of the “Bad Boys” franchise, “Bad Boys 3,” is set to come out in theaters on Jan. 20, 2020. Smith also reflects on parenting his children, who also have had major entertainment careers.

The last episode of ‘The Shop’ featured California governor Gavin Newsom signing a bill into law that allowed amateur athletes to be able to profit off of their own likeness.

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is releasing a new episode of his UNINTERRUPTED/HBO talk show, ‘The Shop’ on Dec. 14.

UNINTERRUPTED and HBO announced another star-studded episode of “The Shop,” which will air on Saturday, Dec. 14 on HBO. But the latest group of guests has more heavy hitters than usual, even by the show’s already lofty standards for celebrity guests.

Movie star and producer Will Smith, comedian and actor Martin Lawrence, recently retired Yankees pitcher C.C. Sabathia and Chance The Rapper will join LeBron James, Maverick Carter and Paul Rivera in the latest episode.

UNINTERRUPTED teased the cast of the episode earlier Wednesday on Instagram.

“The Shop” is not a stranger to major celebrity guests, but this group is one of the most accomplished they’ve had in the show’s history. The show will be available on all HBO platforms at 10 p.m. EST on Saturday.
