LeBron James, Lakers take in early screening of ‘Bad Boys For Life’

LeBron James and some other members of the Los Angeles Lakers got an early screening of the latest installment of the Bad Boys saga.

Before the Los Angeles Lakers took off for their quick two-game trip to Dallas and Oklahoma City, LeBron James and other members of the squad were able to get together for an early private screening of the third installment of the Bad Boys saga, “Bad Boys For Life.”

Martin Lawrence and Will Smith, the two stars, were both guests on the latest episode of LeBron’s HBO/UNINTERRUPTED talk show “The Shop.” Lakers reserve guard Troy Daniels posted about getting into the screening and thanked LeBron for hooking him up with the early viewing. The movie is set for theaters in about a week on January 17.

James and Daniels also gave their rousing endorsements for the movie.

During the appearance of the two “Bad Boys” stars on The Shop, both talked about what it was like to film the original film that became a classic and spurred the series to what it has become. Smith and Lawrence have also been cited as major inspirations to LeBron in his life.

Will Smith reflects on starring in ‘Bad Boys’ with Martin Lawrence in 1995 on ‘The Shop’

The stars of the Bad Boys franchise will both be guests on the latest episode of HBO/UNINTERRUPTED’s ‘The Shop’ with LeBron James.

The latest episode of HBO and UNINTERRUPTED’s ‘The Shop,’ may be the most star-studded version of the show ever as some of the biggest stars in entertainment join LeBron James and Maverick Carter in a new episode that is set to premiere on Saturday night.

Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, C.C. Sabathia, and Chance The Rapper will join LeBron, Carter and the show’s co-creator Paul Rivera on Saturday night’s episode. HBO released a trailer of what viewers will be able to see on Saturday night at 10 p.m. EST on all of HBO’s platforms. In the trailer, Will Smith reflected on what it was like starring in “Bad Boys” with Martin Lawrence, a movie with two black lead actors, back in 1995.

The timing of getting Smith and Lawrence together was not accidental. The third installment of the “Bad Boys” franchise, “Bad Boys 3,” is set to come out in theaters on Jan. 20, 2020. Smith also reflects on parenting his children, who also have had major entertainment careers.

The last episode of ‘The Shop’ featured California governor Gavin Newsom signing a bill into law that allowed amateur athletes to be able to profit off of their own likeness.

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is releasing a new episode of his UNINTERRUPTED/HBO talk show, ‘The Shop’ on Dec. 14.

Not only will Saturday night be a big night for LeBron James and his family as his son Bronny James and his Sierra Canyon boys basketball team will face off against LeBron’s alma mater, St. Vincent-St. Mary’s, LeBron will also be giving fans of his show ‘The Shop” some new content ahead of the holiday season.

UNINTERRUPTED and HBO announced another star-studded episode of “The Shop,” which will air on Saturday, Dec. 14 on HBO. But the latest group of guests has more heavy hitters than usual, even by the show’s already lofty standards for celebrity guests.

Movie star and producer Will Smith, comedian and actor Martin Lawrence, recently retired Yankees pitcher C.C. Sabathia and Chance The Rapper will join LeBron James, Maverick Carter and Paul Rivera in the latest episode.

UNINTERRUPTED teased the cast of the episode earlier Wednesday on Instagram.

“The Shop” is not a stranger to major celebrity guests, but this group is one of the most accomplished they’ve had in the show’s history. The show will be available on all HBO platforms at 10 p.m. EST on Saturday.
