Chiefs release updated depth chart for Week 7

The #Chiefs have released their latest “unofficial” depth chart ahead of the Week 7 game against the #Titans.

The Kansas City Chiefs have released their updated depth chart ahead of their Week 7 game against the Tennessee Titans.

The Chiefs haven’t made any changes to the 53-man roster so far this week. That means players like Jody Fortson will still be reflected on the depth chart, even though we know he suffered a season-ending Achilles injury. That said, there are a few changes to the depth chart after the team made some roster changes last week. That includes one change that Chiefs fans have long been waiting for.

Remember that these depth charts are considered to be “unofficial.” They are assembled by the team’s PR staff, instead of the coaching staff, which means you should take them with a grain of salt. They don’t always reflect the reality of the team’s roster depth come game day.

Let’s take a look at the most recent depth chart out of Kansas City and see what we can learn about the 2021 Chiefs:

Chiefs release updated depth chart for Week 15

A look at the latest depth chart for the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Kansas City Chiefs have released their updated depth chart ahead of their Week 15 game against the New Orleans Saints.

This marks the second consecutive week that the team hasn’t made a change to their depth chart. Remember, these depth charts are assembled by the team’s PR staff and not the coaching staff. They don’t always accurately reflect what will happen on game day, especially since it’s crafted earlier in the week before the team has practiced or made any significant transactions.

Let’s take a look at the latest iteration of the depth chart and see what we can learn about the 2020 Chiefs:

Detroit Lions 2 1/2-point favorites over the Panthers in Week 11

After delaying the betting line due to injuries to both teams’ quarterbacks, Bet MGM now favors the Lions by 2 1/2-points over the Panthers in Week 11.

After delaying the betting line due to injuries to both teams’ quarterbacks, BetMGM now favors the Detroit Lions by 2 1/2-points over the Carolina Panthers in Week 11.

Following the injury reports of Matthew Stafford and Teddy Bridgewater this week has been dizzying.

Stafford was injured Sunday but didn’t miss a snap. Received negative X-rays on Monday, then Tuesday reports suggest “a partially torn ligament“. He missed practice on Wednesday, then got in some limited work on Thursday and Friday. But by the end of the week, most reports out of Allen Park suggest he not only will start, but doesn’t appear to be limited at all.

Bridgewater injured his MCL on Sunday, and initial reports looked bleak. After two days of virtually no practice, it was being reported he was “unlikely” to play. Friday changed perspectives, as Bridgewater began moving better and optimism began to swirl. After another positive Saturday workout, multiple reports are calling him a “true game-time decision”.

BetMGM has a lot of various bet lines to wager on other NFL games but with the betting line being set late, there is only a Moneyline, spread, and over/under announced for this game.

Chiefs release updated depth chart for Week 9

A look at the latest depth chart for the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Kansas City Chiefs have released their updated depth chart ahead of their Week 9 game with the Carolina Panthers.

There are just a couple of changes to the depth chart this week. Remember that these depth charts are considered to be unofficial. They’re assembled by the team’s PR staff and not the coaching staff. Updating Vegas Watch: Lions still 2.5-point underdogs versus Colts in Week 8

Updating the BetMGM betting lines for the Detroit Lions Week 8 game against the Indianapolis Colts.

According to BetMGM, the Detroit Lions (3-3) opened Week 8 as 2.5-point underdogs to the Indianapolis Colts (4-2) and after a week’s worth of betting the line hasn’t moved.

The over/under did see some slight movement, dropping from an already low 50.5 points, down to 49.5 points. Considering the Colts only give up 19.2 points on average, and the Lions have only given up 19 points on average since refocusing their defense after the bye, the experts are anticipating a low scoring outing.

BetMGM has a lot of various bet lines to wager on in this game, but here’s a look at the basic concepts most would be interested in, including the Moneyline, points spread, and over/under.

Updating Vegas Watch: Lions now 2-point underdogs at Falcons in Week 7

Examining Bet MGM for updated betting lines for the Detroit Lions at Atlanta Falcons Week 7 matchup.

According to BetMGM, the Detroit Lions (2-3) opened Week 7 as 2.5-point underdogs to the Atlanta Falcons (1-5) but the betting line has seen a slight shift, and the Lions and they are now getting just 2 points in this game.

The over/under has also dipped a bit, dropping from 56.5 earlier in the week, to 54.5-points this morning. 2020 has seen a jump in production in offenses and both teams have shown the ability to put up points, so when you couple that with both secondaries being vulnerable, this shift is surprising.

BetMGM has a lot of various bet lines to wager on in this game, but here’s a look at the basic concepts most would be interested in, including the Moneyline, points spread, and over/under.

Vegas Watch: Lions open Week 7 as 2 1/2-point underdogs to the Falcons

Examining the Detroit Lions at Atlanta Falcons betting lines for Week 7. The Lions open as 2 1/2 point underdogs.

Both the Detroit Lions (2-3) and Atlanta Falcons (1-5) are coming off victories and will be looking to start a winning streak in Week 7. The Lions jumped on the Jaguars and never let up, winning 34-16, while the Falcons got their first win of the season by dropping 40 on the Vikings, who could only manage 23 points.

With the game being played in Atlanta, the home team gets the traditional 2.5-point edge — according to BetMGM — but this betting line points to this game should be a close contest.

The 34 points scored last week were the most ever put up by a Lions team under coach Matt Patricia, and their offense wasn’t even as sharp as it has been in previous weeks. Factor in, wide receiver Julio Jones returning to game action and the Falcons coming off a 40 point contest, and it’s no surprise the over-under is at 56.5 points.

LSU Tigers at Florida Gators game time moved back by a half an hour

The football game between the Florida Gators and LSU Tigers has been pushed back to 4 p.m. EDT, according to UF’s official Twitter account.

The football game between the Florida Gators and LSU Tigers has been pushed back to 4 p.m. EDT, according to the Gators’ official Twitter account.

The match was previously scheduled for 3:30 p.m. EDT on Saturday, Oct. 17, but has been changed for reasons that have not yet been made clear.

LSU comes into the game unranked with a 1-2 record after winning the college football National Championship last season behind Joe Burrow’s Heisman Trophy-winning campaign. Florida enters The Swamp ranked ninth in the nation after a stunning upset loss to the Texas A&M Aggies last weekend in College Station.

All three of Florida’s previous games kicked off at noon, so this one represents their first game played later on in the day thus far as the Gators continue the Southeastern Conference’s 10-game, league-only schedule.

Stay tuned to Gators Wire for everything you need to know leading up to the game as well as in-game reports and analysis on Saturday from our staff writer Tyler Nettuno, who will be covering the matchup from Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.
