Georgia football among top schools for Taleeq Robbins

The Georgia Bulldogs are among the top five schools for defensive tackle Taleeq Robbins.

The Georgia Bulldogs are among the top five schools for defensive tackle Taleeq Robbins. Robbins is a member of the class of 2021. He is a three-star recruit who plays high school football for Imhotep Institute in Philadelphia.

Robbins announced that the University of Georgia offered him a football scholarship back in March. The 6-foot-3, 300 pound defensive lineman is ranked as the 18th best player in Pennsylvania and the No. 44 defensive tackle in the 2021 recruiting class, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.

Robbins has received numerous scholarship offers and is expected to decide soon. He is favored to commit to the Texas A&M Aggies. Don’t count out the Georgia Bulldogs, who are recruiting Philadelphia quite well. Kirby Smart has added increased emphasis on recruiting the talented area and still needs his first defensive tackle commitment in the class of 2021.

As a high school junior, Robbins recorded 40 tackles, three sacks, and one fumble recovery.

Robbins puts the Georgia Bulldogs, NC State Wolfpack, Texas A&M Aggies, Arizona State Sun Devils, and Ole Miss Rebels in his top five. We will monitor his recruiting moving forward.

The three-star defensive tackle released his top schools via his Twitter account:

Will Robbins join D’Andre Swift as Dawgs from Philly? We’ll find out in the coming months.

Top-100 recruit expands list, includes Georgia football in final eight

Georgia football was included in the top-eight of an elite 4-star recruit.

Kaine Williams, a 4-star safety in the class of 2021, has included Georgia in his top-eight schools.

Williams initially released a final cut of six schools, which included Georgia. In his tweet on Wednesday, Williams mentioned that no school dropped out of his top-six, however, he did add two schools to his list: Florida State and Texas.

His new top-eight includes LSU, Alabama, Texas A&M, Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, Florida State and Georgia.

Williams, out of John Ehret High School in Marrero, Louisiana, ranks as the nation’s No. 95 overall player and the No. 3 safety in the country.

Right now, according to 247Sports, Williams is viewed as an LSU lean. The Tigers will be a tough program to beat out seeing as how they routinely produce some of the nation’s top defensive backs and are located just 45 minutes from his home.

Williams recently told Rivals that he plans to commit either at the end of May or the beginning of August.

Georgia football finishes with No. 1 recruiting class for second time in three years

Georgia football finishes with the #1 ranked recruiting class in all of college football for the second time in three years.

This Wednesday at 11:42 a.m., 247Sports called it quits in the recruiting battle mayhem.

Via Twitter, they officially crowned the Georgia Bulldogs as the #1 recruiting class in all of college football for the second time in just three years.

The Dawgs have 4 5-stars, 15 4-stars and 6 3-stars ready to go for the 2020-2021 season this coming fall.

The SEC has 9 of the top 25 recruiting classes, along with six teams in the top 8.  It is safe to say that with the exception of Clemson and Ohio State, the SEC swept the recruiting frenzy with the Dawgs leading the charge.

From the looks of it, Kirby Smart is fed up with falling short late in the season.  Since the arrival of Kirby the Dawgs have been having more success than they’ve had in decades, but it doesn’t seem to be enough for Smart and his staff.

It’s a GREAT day to be a Georgia Bulldog.

Georgia football offers 2020 Memphis commit

Georgia football has offered Memphis commit, 3-star inside linebacker Kobe Wilson. Wilson is the 43rd ranked ILB in the 2020 class.

Kirby Smart has just recently offered 2020 Memphis commit, inside linebacker Kobe Wilson.

Wilson, the 6 foot, 210 lb 3-star linebacker is a Georgia native who currently attends Parkview high school.

Wilson gave a verbal commitment to the University of Memphis back in July but it seems this offer has opened his recruitment back up.

He is currently ranked as the #43 inside linebacker in the country and the 87th best player in the country for his class, according to 247Sports.

Wilson would be a great steal for Kirby and the Dawgs as recruiting madness is in full swing.
