Five-star safety Terrion Arnold has set a commitment date and time. Will it be the Crimson Tide?
Alabama already has the top recruiting class for the 2021 cycle. More reinforcements in the secondary would be welcomed, however, and that is exactly what five-star safety Terrion Arnold would provide.
The Tallahassee, Fla. native is down to three schools: Alabama, Florida and Georgia. As of right now, it looks like the Crimson Tide and Gators have a slight lead, but we now have an end in sight.
Back on Friday, Arnold announced a commitment time and date via his Twitter account. It looks like that will be on Feb. 3 at 4 p.m. ET, and it will be aired live on ESPN.
Arnold is listed as a five-star prospect and the nation’s No. 25 overall player (No. 2 safety) for the class of 2021, according to 247Sports. The composite rankings don’t have him quite as high (four-star, No. 104 and No. 5 safety).
If Nick Saban and company can land Arnold, it would take the list of secondary additions to another level. He would joining the following group of talented freshman coming in:
- Ga’Quincy McKinstry (5-star / No. 17 / No. 1 CB)
- Kadarius Calloway (4-star / No. 136 / No. 4 ATH)
- Devonta Smith (4-star / No. 256 / No. 20 CB)
- Khyree Jackson (3-star / No. 2 JUCO CB)
Stay tuned.
