BREAKING: 4-star OG Terrence Ferguson commits to Alabama

Four-star offensive guard Terrence Ferguson has committed to Alabama on Sunday, solidifying yet another top-notch big man up front.

Alabama has been making a strong push in the recruiting world since the middle of April, and on Sunday, the Crimson Tide added yet another piece to its 2021 class.

Terrence Ferguson, a four-star offensive guard from Fort Valley (Ga.), made his commitment to Nick Saban and Alabama.

The month of July has been particularly good to the Crimson Tide, as Ferguson is the No. 6 commitment this month. Here are the other recent additions within the last three weeks:

Ferguson is rated as the No. 47 overall prospect in the 2021 class, the No. 2 offensive guard and the No. 5 player from the state of Georgia, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

He is now commitment No. 15 for the Crimson Tide, which now sits at No. 2 in the nation (No. 1 in the SEC) after a slow start.

4-star OG Terrence Ferguson sets commitment time for Sunday

Four-star offensive guard Terrence Ferguson is set to announce his college decision on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. ET. Will he land with the Tide?

The month of July has been good to Alabama on the recruiting trail, as the Crimson Tide has landed five prospects since the first day of the month. It started with top-50 prospect Dallas Turner and most recently, it was the Brockermeyer twins out of Texas.

The next potential addition for Alabama could come in four-star Terrence Ferguson, the four-star offensive lineman out of Peach County High School in Fort Valley (Ga.).

It was already known that Ferguson would be making his selection for which school he will attend on Sunday, but on Saturday night, the hulking guard set a specific time, which will be at 3:00 p.m. ET tomorrow.

The offensive line class for the Crimson Tide is already coming together nicely. This is what it looks like as of right now:

The addition of Ferguson on Sunday could put this group in a category in rare company, as he’s rated as the No. 47 overall prospect, the No. 2 offensive guard and the No. 5 player from the state of Georgia according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

Top-50 player Terrence Ferguson, a Georgia target, to announce this weekend

TJ Ferguson, a top Georgia football recruiting target, is set to announce this weekend.

Offensive guard Terrence Ferguson, the nation’s No. 47 overall player in the class of 2021, is set to announce his collegiate decision this Sunday at 3 p.m. ET.

Out of Fort Valley, Georgia, Ferguson’s recruitment is viewed as a battle between Georgia and Alabama, however, Florida State is thought to be in the mix as well.

Per 247Sports, Ferguson is viewed as an Alabama lean, with 100% of the Crystal Ball predictions on his profile page going in favor of the Tide.

Ferguson ranks as the nation’s No. 47 overall player, No. 2 ranked guard and No. 5 player in the state of Georgia in the class of 2021.

Ferguson last visited UGA on January 25th.

Georgia WR Kearis Jackson recruiting fellow Peach County star to UGA

Georgia football WR Kearis Jackson is recruiting 4-star OG TJ Ferguson to UGA.

A number of Georgia players have been recruiting some of America’s top prep talent to UGA this past week on Twitter.

One player going after a hometown recruit is Georgia wide receiver Kearis Jackson, a former 4-star out of Peach County High School in Fort Valley, Georgia.

Jackson sent a tweet to 2021 4-star offensive guard Terrence “TJ” Ferguson, who attends Jackson’s alma mater of Peach County.

Ferguson (6-foot-4, 300 pounds) ranks as the nation’s No. 48 overall player, No. 3 offensive guard and as the No. 5 player in Georgia.

Right now, 247Sports sees Ferguson winding up at Georgia.

UGA trending for two 4-star offensive linemen from Georgia

UGA football recruiting is putting in work and is now trending for two 4-star lineman out of the state of Georgia.

Georgia appears to be trending for two of the top offensive linemen in the class of 2021.

Both are from the state of Georgia and both are listed as offensive guards. Terrence Ferguson and Dylan Fairchild are projected to commit to Georgia, per their 247Sports profile pages.

Rusty Mansell, a leading recruiting analyst for 247Sports, recently submitted his crystal ball picks for Fairchild and Ferguson.

He projected both to Georgia, which is good news for the Bulldogs given Mansell’s reputation of being one of the most accurate at predicting where a recruit will go.

Terrence Ferguson:

Ferguson is a four-star guard out of Fort Valley, Georgia. He attends Peach County High School.

Ferguson ranks as the nation’s No. 51 overall prospect, No. 3 offensive guard and No. 5 player from Georgia.

The 6-foot-4-inch, 300-pound lineman made visits to Alabama, Tennessee and Georgia. Sam Pittman and Arkansas offered him as well in December.

Dylan Fairchild:

Fairchild, out of Cumming, Georgia (West Forsyth HS), is a 6-foot-5-inch, 298-pounder who plays both guard and tackle.

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Fairchild is the 211th ranked player in America, the 10th ranked guard and the 22nd player in Georgia.

The Bulldogs offered Fairchild in early March. He has received a great deal of recruiting interest recently, including from Florida State, Auburn and Texas A&M.
