Tennessee basketball players will attend the SEC spring meetings.

Two Tennessee basketball players were selected to participate in the SEC spring meetings next week.

Tamari Key and Jahmai Mashack will attend the league meetings, which begin May 28 and will be held in Miramar Beach, Florida.

Key completed her final season with the Lady Vols and is attending the meetings for a second consecutive year.

Student-athletes will attend a series of meetings throughout the week. They will share perspectives and offer input on issues that impact their college experiences.

Key and Mashack are two of seven student-athletes scheduled to attend the meetings. All student-athletes are members of the SEC’s Student-Athletes Leadership Councils or the conference’s Advisory Council.

The Crimson Tide led, 30-28, at halftime.

Rickea Jackson totaled 13 points and six rebounds for Tennessee. She was one of two Tennessee players to score 10-plus points in the contest.

Jasmine Powell recorded 10 points, three rebounds and three assists, while Tamari Key posted nine points and seven rebounds. Sara Puckett finished with eight points for Tennessee, which converted 24-of-68 field goal attempts and 3-of-18 three-point attempts.

Tennessee recorded a .556 free throw percentage, converting 5-of-9 free throw attempts.

The Lady Vols committed 12 turnovers in the contest.

Rickea Jackson and Jasmine Powell each scored 16 points for the Lady Vols. Jackson, who did not play in the fourth quarter due to an apparent injury, also totaled 10 rebounds, four steals and three assists. Powell recorded 16 points, eight assists, five rebounds and two steals.

Jewel Spear had 12 points, four rebounds and two assists, while Tamari Key finished with 10 points and four rebounds.

The Commodores’ Iyana Moore led all scorers with 19 points. Jordyn Cambridge added 12 points and six rebounds, while former Lady Vol Justine Pissott scored nine points, making three 3-pointers.

It was Tennessee’s sixth consecutive win and the Lady Vols’ third comeback victory in SEC play.

Tennessee had three players score 10-plus points in the contest.

Jewel Spear and Sara Puckett totaled 20 points each, while Rickea Jackson recorded 18.

Spear posted eight rebounds and four assists. Puckett had eight rebounds and one assist, while Jackson finished with eight rebounds and two assists.

Tamari Key totaled nine points, two rebounds and two blocks for Tennessee.

Florida’s Aliyah Matharu led all scorers with 23 points.

Rickea Jackson totaled a game-high 27 points for Tennessee. She also recorded seven rebounds, three assists and one steal.

Jewel Spear scored 21 points, while Jasmine Powell posted nine points, nine assists and seven rebounds for the Lady Vols, who led, 66-60, at the end of the third quarter.

Tess Darby and Karoline Striplin finished with eight points each for Tennessee, while Tamari Key scored two points and had six blocks.

Ajae Petty posted a double-double for the Wildcats, recording 14 points and 14 rebounds.
