Lady Vols defeat Vanderbilt in We Back Pat game.

Tennessee (12-6, 5-1 SEC) defeated Vanderbilt (17-3, 4-2 SEC), 73-64, at Food City Center.

The contest, which was played during the SEC’s We Back Pat Week, was tied, 33-33, at halftime.

Rickea Jackson and Jasmine Powell each scored 16 points for the Lady Vols. Jackson, who did not play in the fourth quarter due to an apparent injury, also totaled 10 rebounds, four steals and three assists. Powell recorded 16 points, eight assists, five rebounds and two steals.

Jewel Spear had 12 points, four rebounds and two assists, while Tamari Key finished with 10 points and four rebounds.

The Commodores’ Iyana Moore led all scorers with 19 points. Jordyn Cambridge added 12 points and six rebounds, while former Lady Vol Justine Pissott scored nine points, making three 3-pointers.
