According to reports, Mat Ishbia is set to purchase the Phoenix Suns in the near future

Mat Ishbia has made a splash in the NBA world on Tuesday when it was announced that he is in agreement to purchase the Phoenix Suns. Ishbia, the leader of United Wholesale Mortgage, has been prospecting purchasing a professional sports franchise for a while, and is now going to be given an opportunity.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski was the first to report the news, announcing the deal should be completed in the near future.

Gabe Brown went undrafted after four years with Michigan State, but quickly caught on within the NBA circle with a solid showing in the NBA Summer League.

Now, Brown is playing for the Raptors 905, the G-League affiliate of the Toronto Raptors.

In the 905’s game against the Greensboro Swarm, Brown drove the lane and threw down a monster dunk over a defender.

Jaren Jackson Jr. has had a knack for making highlight plays throughout his basketball career. That didn’t change on Friday night in the Memphis Grizzlies game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Early in the second quarter, Jackson got the ball at the top of the key and he would put the ball on the ground and took it to the rack, finishing it off with a posterizing dunk.

Former Michigan State basketball star Gary Harris suffers knee injury

Gary Harris has suffered a knee injury that will keep him out of action for a while

Gary Harris was a star during his time at Michigan State, being a key component to Tom Izzo’s program for his two years with the team. Since then, Harris has carved out a nice NBA career for himself with the Denver Nuggets and now the Orlando Magic.

Unfortunately, Harris’s ninth year in the league is going to start with a hiccup. It has been reported that Harris has suffered a torn meniscus in his left knee. His timetable for a return is not yet known.

Max Christie was drafted 35th overall in the second round of this year’s NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Lakers. Christie has had an up and down showing in summer league so far, but has shown that he has the foundation to build upon.

The next step in his NBA dream is complete, as Christie has reportedly agreed to his first contract with the Lakers. It appears that Christie has signed a two-year, 2.74 million dollar deal that is fully guaranteed.
