Touchdown Wire gives Seahawks B+ grade following regular season

Touchdown Wire gives the Seattle Seahawks a B+ grade following the 2020 NFL regular season.

The report cards are in.

The folks over at Touchdown Wire have issued their final grades for all 32 teams around the league following the 2020 NFL regular season.

“All they do is win 10 or more games every season,” writes Barry Werner. “The Seattle Seahawks may have had defensive issues but they still do more than almost any other franchise. Pete Carroll and Company are a joy to watch, and a blueprint for NFL success.”

Grade: B-plus

Although the grades issued are for each team’s regular-season performance, the Seahawks have the chance to make a push deep into the postseason if they can get past the Rams on Saturday.

Kick-off between Seattle and Los Angeles in the wild-card round is set for Saturday at 1:40 p.m. PT at Lumen Field.

Report card: Bills top Dolphins, 56-26

Buffalo Bills Week 17 report card after a 56-26 win vs. the Miami Dolphins.

There might not be enough ways to describe what the Buffalo Bills did to the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. In the Bills’ season finale, things went brutal for the Dolphins as Buffalo won 56-26.

The game was not only painful to watch for Miami, it was season-ending as the Dolphins (10-6)  later went on to miss out on the postseason due to their loss to the Bills (13-3). That comes in a year when two teams in the NFC (Bears, Football Team), made the postseason with a .500 or worse record.

Double ouch.

Following the huge regular season ending win for Buffalo, here’s how Bills Wire graded out them out in Week 17:

Report card: Grading every Bills position after third quarter of season

Buffalo Bills report card following the third quarter of the 2020 NFL season.

We’re rounding the final turn of the Buffalo Bills’ 2020 regular season. At 9-3, the Bills are still in the pole position in terms of grabbing a playoff berth from the AFC East.

However, the work is far from done. While the team itself will be looking forward to their final four games, let’s take a look back before we do the same.

Here’s Bills Wire’s third-quarter report card heading into the final stretch:

How have Chiefs rookies looked through three-quarters of 2020 season?

Checking in on the Kansas City Chiefs’ rookie class three-quarters of the way through the regular season.

It’s hard to imagine that the 2020 NFL regular season is nearly over.

The Chiefs have seen plenty of snaps out of their rookie class and they remain one of the more impressive groups in the NFL this season. The team has a total of eight rookie players on the 53-man roster. Remember that third-round draft pick Lucas Niang opted out of the season.

Below you’ll find a quick breakdown of each rookie and their performance through three-quarters of the season:

Report card: Bills top 49ers, 34-24

Buffalo Bills, San Francisco 49ers report card for Week 13.

The Bills escaped the desert in Arizona in a much nicer fashion on Monday Night Football this time around.

Buffalo (9-3) topped the San Francisco 49ers (5-7), 34-24, in Week 13. It was a consistent effort all over the field for the Bills en route to the victory.

Following their latest win, here’s how Bills Wire graded out the Bills:

Report Card: Grading LSU after difficult loss to Texas A&M

LSU received some tough grades following its 20-7 loss to Texas A&M. The defense earned some high marks, but that was not enough for LSU.

The grades for LSU are in after the Tigers lost Saturday night against Texas A&M. And those grades are not particularly pretty this week. While there are at least a couple of bright spots to highlight in LSU’s loss, the review of this game was not too kind to the Tigers.

Here is the report card for LSU after its 2-0-7 loss to the Aggies this weekend.

Quarterbacks: D

It can be really easy to be incredibly down on TJ Finley after the kind of performance he had against Texas A&M. Two interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown and completing just nine of 25 pass attempts would certainly seem to be a slam dunk case for a failing grade. However, we’ll give Finley a slight pass because he was up against one of the best defenses in the country, on the road. There wasn’t much to be proud of, but perhaps this is just one stumble that serves as a learning experience.

MAx Johnson did come into the game and led LSU to a touchdown late in the fourth quarter to avoid being shut out by the Aggies.

Report Card: Grading LSU’s win against Arkansas

LSU looked confident in all areas of the game in a road victory over the Arkansas Razorbacks on Saturday.

After a couple of weeks off for one reason or another, LSU got back in the win column on Saturday with a 27-24 win at Arkansas. The win featured a fourth-quarter rally and a defensive stand to protect the lead.

The win evened LSU’s record at 3-3 as a season of ups and downs continued. Overall, this was a fairly positive game without much reason to criticize any particular group. This was a stark contrast from our last report card following LSU’s blowout loss to Auburn.

Let’s dig into this latest progress report on the Tigers.

Quarterback: B

TJ Finley started his third game for the Tigers, and he was much closer to his South Carolina performance than his dreadful outing against Auburn. That was very good news for LSU. Finley passed for 271 yards and two touchdowns without an interception thrown. The ability to protect the football was essential in a tight game like this, and seeing him look much more comfortable was an encouraging sign after Auburn really roughed him up a few weeks ago.

Finley also added 15 rushing yards to the game, but the ground game was in good hands as well.

Report card: Bills fall 32-30 vs. Cardinals

Buffalo Bills’ report card for Week 10 vs. the Arizona Cardinals.

The Bills fell in dramatic fashion against the Cardinals in Week 10. While this game will be remembered for one play by the Cards (6-3)… there’s still plenty of snaps to judge and grade the Bills (7-3) on.

Here’s Bills Wire’s Week 10 report card for Buffalo against the Cards:

Midseason Saints progress report: Grading offense, defense, special teams
