Social Media reacts to Marvin Harrison scoring first touchdown against Wisconsin

McCord to Harrison Jr. got us fired up as well! #GoBucks

It took until the second quarter for ether team to score, but [autotag]Ohio State football[/autotag] got the first touchdown of the game against Wisconsin to take a 10-0 lead.

The Buckeye capitalized on a short field, due to a bad Badger punt, only needing to go 52 yards to find the end zone. It was a fantastic play call by head coach [autotag]Ryan Day[/autotag] and offensive coordinator [autotag]Brian Hartline[/autotag], as they schemed star wide receiver [autotag]Marvin Harrison Jr.[/autotag] underneath the defense, quarterback [autotag]Kyle McCord[/autotag] hit him in stride and the future first round pick did the rest.

Check out the best reactions from X, the website formerly know as Twitter, to the Buckeye score.

Questions Ohio State football needs to answer to defeat Wisconsin

What questions do you want to see Ohio State answer against Wisconsin? #GoBucks

[autotag]Ohio State football[/autotag] will take on the Wisconsin Badgers at night in what should be a rowdy Camp Randall.

Although the Badgers aren’t quite as good as the Buckeyes last opponent, they’re out on the outside of the getting ranked, so it’s not as if they’re a bottom of the barrel Big Ten team.

The Buckeyes are facing off against a quarterback in freshman [autotag]Braedyn Locke[/autotag], who is making his second career start, so the Badgers have plenty of questions about how he will play.

As for Ohio State, they also have plenty of questions entering this contest and here are the biggest ones that stand out in my eyes.

The day after: Final thoughts on Ohio State football’s win over Penn State

What Buckeye thought’s are still in your head #GoBucks

As an [autotag]Ohio State football[/autotag] fan, just because it’s Sunday and the NFL is on, doesn’t mean you aren’t thinking about your Buckeyes.

While we watch Buckeyes in the pros, we can’t help but dream about the future of this team after its second top 10 win of the season and staying undefeated at 7-0.

Penn State was a worthy opponent and didn’t take a massive tumble in the polls, but the Buckeyes didn’t move up either. More on both these subjects later.

There are still plenty of thoughts that have stayed with me since yesterday’s grind-it-out win, and here they are starting with the defense.

5-stars: The best and worst of Ohio State’s win over Penn State

What went well, what didn’t for the Buckeyes? #GoBucks

For four quarters, Ohio State football dominated on the defensive side, while its offense did just enough to defeat Penn State, 20-12, in front of a home crowd in Columbus.

It wasn’t all easy for the Buckeyes, especially when you score just two touchdowns. The Nittany Lion defense should get plenty of credit for part of the output, as it was statistically one of the best in the country entering the contest.

As with every game, we take a look at who was the best, five stars, and the worst, one star, and everything in between in Ohio State’s slugfest win over visiting Penn State.

LeBron James gifts Ohio State football custom cleats for game vs. Penn State

King James comes through again for the Buckeyes #GoBucks

We all know that NBA superstar [autotag]LeBron James[/autotag] is a massive [autotag]Ohio State[/autotag] fan, regardless of the sport.

James has been extremely generous with his apparel to Buckeye athletes and he once again has given them a gift. Previously, the Los Angeles Lakers star has given out Beats by Dre headphones or specialty shoes, which he did for the women’s basketball team.

He went with the specialty shoes this go around. James gifted the Ohio State football team custom shoes that have a distinct Buckeye flair. The writing along the edges has multiple words written on them such as Columbus, Woody Hayes, Buckeye Battle Cry and more. Check them out for yourself.

We don’t know if James will be on the sidelines for the contest, but as we  have seen, he’s not shy about his affinity for the Buckeyes.

The day after: Lasting thoughts on Ohio State football’s win over Purdue

What still sticks out in your head Buckeye fans? #GoBucks

It wasn’t the biggest win in [autotag]Ohio State footbal[/autotag]l history, but it’s win on the road against Purdue did carry some significance.

It somewhat exorcized some West Lafayette demons, kept the Buckeyes undefeated and was a great tune up ahead of their tilt at home against Penn State. Both major pregame shows will be in attendance, so you know it’s a big game.

We wait six days every week for Buckeye football to return on Saturday during the season, so there is always plenty of time to think about what transpired the previous game. Here are my day after thoughts following Ohio State football’s impressive road 41-7 win against Purdue.

5 stars: The best and worst of Ohio State’s win on the road over Purdue

What who played well, who didn’t for the Bucks against Purdue? #GoBucks

[autotag]Ohio State football[/autotag] went into Ross-Ade Stadium, and thoroughly defeated a [autotag]Purdue[/autotag] team that was severely overmatched.

It will not erase the past recent results in West Lafayette, but it has to feel good for head coach [autotag]Ryan Day[/autotag] and his team to go there and get a win. Ohio State improves to 4-5 there since 2000, something not many of us are accustomed to seeing or maybe even aware of.

There was a lot of good for the Buckeyes today and also some bad. Let’s take a look at the best performances, five stars, and worst performances, one star, of Ohio State’s 41-7 victory on the road against Purdue.

ESPN College GameDay picks winner of Ohio State vs. Maryland

We know you have the Buckeyes winning, but do they? #GoBucks

Although [autotag]ESPN College GameDay[/autotag] is not in Columbus, Ohio for the [autotag]Ohio State[/autotag] against [autotag]Maryland[/autotag] football contest, it’s still a big game.

The show’s broadcast team traveled to Dallas, Texas, to be on hand for the Red River Rivalry, as two undefeated teams, Oklahoma and Texas, face off in their final Big 12 version of the rivalry.

Analysts [autotag]Desmond Howard[/autotag], [autotag]Pat McAfee[/autotag], [autotag]Lee Corso[/autotag] and [autotag]Kirk Herbstreit[/autotag] were joined by guest picker Baker Mayfield, former Sooner and current Tampa Bay Buccaneer quarterback to make their picks for this week.

One for their games was of course the Buckeyes and Terrapins. Find out below who each of them picked to win the game today.

Five questions Ohio State needs to answer to defeat Maryland

If the Buckeyes have the correct answers, they’ll beat Maryland #GoBucks

The [autotag]Ohio State football[/autotag] team get’s back on the field this weekend following a bye week, as it’s set to face off against visiting [autotag]Maryland[/autotag].

The Terrapins are just on the outside of the top 25 rankings, in both of them leading the votes of the unranked. Led by a veteran quarterback, [autotag]Taulia Tagovailoa[/autotag], Maryland boasts an offense that hasn’t scored under 30 points all season.

Defensively, the Terrapins have been fairly solid as well, as they’ve held all their opponents to 20 points or lower. There are plenty of questions the Buckeyes will have to answer and here are the five most important ones for them to come out victorious on Saturday afternoon.

Ten things Ohio State football hopefully accomplishes during its bye week

Ten things Ohio State hopefully accomplished during the off week. #GoBucks

Through the first four games of the 2023 season, [autotag]Ohio State football[/autotag] has managed to stay undefeated.

The Buckeyes have not been perfect, by any means, but with a bye week, they have a golden opportunity to work on multiple aspects of their game that need to get cleaned up.

Head coach [autotag]Ryan Day[/autotag] has his team in a very good position, 4-0 with a big win under its belt defeating Notre Dame on the road. The win was enough to move the Buckeyes up in the polls.

Although the bye week might seem like no work for Ohio State, there still is plenty to get done. Here are ten things that I would love to see the OSU football team accomplish during the off week.
