Fields added fuel to that fire by unfollowing the Bears on social media, and when he breached the subject on the St. Brown Bros Podcast, he explained the he didn’t want football content on his feed.

Take that as you may, but another question the St. Brown brothers asked Fields was his Mount Rushmore of Ohio State stars, which may differ from your list. Take a look below at which four Buckeyes Fields chose as the faces of the program.

Chargers’ all-time Mount Rushmore: 4 best players in franchise history

Here are the four best players in Chargers franchise history.

Even though the Chargers don’t have any Lombardi Trophies in their trophy case, they have had a handful of legendary players come through the doors to help the team with successful seasons over the past 64 years.

That said, here are the four best players in the franchise’s history.

Dirk Nowitzki says LeBron James has case to be on NBA’s Mount Rushmore

Dallas Mavericks legend Dirk Nowitzki gave praise to LeBron James as one of the NBA’s greats.

Dallas Mavericks legend Dirk Nowitzki will be one of three players on NBA 2K22’s 75th Anniversary Edition, joining Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Kevin Durant on the cover.

Nowitzki played his entire 21-year career with the Mavericks and won a championship with the franchise in 2011. He was named the NBA Finals MVP that year.

That championship win came against LeBron James and the Miami Heat, who also boasted Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh on the roster.

James and Nowitzki had 32 matchups against each other during their time together in the league, so Nowitzki knew James’ game extremely well.

When asked about his NBA version of Mount Rushmore, which gave him a difficult time to pick from a pool of talented athletes, Nowitzki mentioned James’ name as a top choice.

“Yeah, I mean that’s, that’s so tough, too, there are so many great players,” Nowitzki said. “You know, obviously, Michael Jordan was always my No. 1 idol. I mean, and then it gets super tough. I mean, you know Magic [Johnson] is on there, to me Larry Bird. I’m a guy that’s obviously old school. I think LeBron [James] has a case to be on that Mount Rushmore, the way his body works, his championships and he’s still going. So, I mean that was tough.”

Nowitzki also gave a nod to Lakers’ legends Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant.

“Big man Shaq (O’Neal) obviously has a great case, so does Kobe (Bryant),” Nowitzki said. “I mean it’s that’s tough.”

NBA 2K22 is slated to release on Sept. 10. The 75th Anniversary Edition will cost $99.99 USD, and it will be available to purchase on all platforms, both old generation and current generation.

Fab Four: Selecting Tennessee football’s Mount Rushmore of all-time recruits

On the eve of early signing day, Vols Wire recalls the most hyped commits in school history.

As the early signing period quickly approaches, Tennessee football is looking to lock in its 2021 recruiting class. The Tennessee program has been able to sign highly touted prospects over the years.

Along with all of the other College Wire sites, Vols Wire has put together a Mount Rushmore of the greatest recruits in Tennessee football history.

The criteria to make this list fairly simple.

Each player must have signed a national letter of intent out of high school to play for the Vols, and must have taken part in at least one full season at Tennessee.

This is not a list that consists of the greatest players in Tennessee history. It is a list of student-athletes who made the most national headlines when signing to play at the University of Tennessee and who went on to have a productive career for the Vols.

More Mount Rushmore’s from the College Wire Network:

Bama / Aub / Fla / LSU / Tenn. / UGA // Mich. / Mich St. / Ohio St. / Wisc. // Okla. / Texas // ND // USC

Staff Roundtable: Who makes the Mount Rushmore of Texas football?

With ongoing discussions regarding the Mount Rushmore of Texas football, the staff weighed in on their own versions.

It seems that every media outlet, social media account, or on-air personalities have attempted to put together their own “Mount Rushmore” of a certain topic. There are no shortages of notable names for the Texas football program, so we’re going to jump on board and give it a shot. From legendary coaches to players on the field, there is quite a pool of talent to choose from.

Patrick’s Mount Rushmore

Darrell K. Royal

It is difficult to put together a top four list that doesn’t involve Coach Royal. The stadium is named after him and he brought the Longhorns three National Championships and 11 conference titles in his 20-year run as head coach. The Longhorns were just 1-9 the season the season before Royal’s hire and went 6-4-1 in that first year including an invite to the Sugar Bowl. Overall he finished his coaching record with the Longhorns at 167-45-5 which included two undefeated seasons.

Vince Young

When people think of Texas, many remember the play in the Rose Bowl on fourth down. Vince Young willed a team that many felt would fall to USC en route to their third-straight National Championship. The highest rated recruit ever at the University of Texas provided many memories, including a National Championship that immortalized Young at Texas.

Jeff Lewis-USA TODAY Sports

Mack Brown

The Texas Longhorns hadn’t won a National Title since 1970, when Mack Brown came to town it changed a lot for the Longhorns. During his tenure, Mack led the Longhorns to nine-straight seasons with double digit wins. Two National Championship appearances and one championship. While at Texas, Mack won 158 games putting him just nine short of Royal’s mark.

Earl Campbell

It would be an incomplete Mount Rushmore without Earl Campbell. The Tyler Rose won the Heisman Trophy in 1977 when he rushed for 1,744 yards and 18 touchdowns. It was the first time a Longhorn had won the trophy. Overall, Campbell finished with 4,443 yards and 40 touchdowns. His rushing yards total was the best in school history until Ricky Williams came along. Still the 3rd highest in school history behind Williams and the late Cedric Benson.

Hoops Mount Rushmore: Who Are the Greatest Badgers in the Last 20 Years?

Sports are on pause and, although it’s only April 3, it feels like the dog days of summer are in full swing.

So, what better to do while we go back and re-watch every notable Badger sport game from the last 20 years? How about a Mount Rushmore.

Here, in no particular order, are the four greatest Badger basketball players since 2000.

Frank Kaminsky (2011-2015)

This one was an easy one. Although Kaminsky began his career playing sparingly, only starting two games in his first two seasons, his junior and senior seasons vaulted him into Badger basketball lure as he helped lead the team to two consecutive Final Four appearances including a National Championship defeat in 2015 at the hands of the Duke Blue Devils. What Kaminsky brought to the floor was a unique blend of size, inside skill and outside shooting, a combination which led him to be drafted ninth overall by the Charlotte Hornets in 2015. Kaminsky finished his career with the greatest single-season scoring performance in school history with 732 points as a senior in 2014-2015, No. 12 on the Badgers all-time scoring list, 1458 total points, the only Naismith Trophy, Wooden Award, Oscar Robertson Trophy AND AP Player of the Year award winner in a single season and, again, helped lead the Badgers on their best two-year run in school history. Was he a much better player than guys like Jon Leuer and Sam Dekker? No. But his final two seasons vaulted him to one of the greatest Badgers since 2000 and into Badger lure.

Ethan Happ (2015-2019)

Ethan Happ finished his career in 2019 as Wisconsin’s all-time leader in rebounds, blocks and triple doubles and No. 3 on the school’s all-time scoring list. Happ was the model of consistency throughout his four years, averaging 12.4 points and 7.9 rebounds as a freshman, 14 and 9 as a sophomore, 17.9 and 8 as a junior and 17.3 and 10.1 as a senior, and finished his career with a final tally of 2130 points, 1217 rebounds and 154 blocks. While he was unable to lead the Badgers back to the Final Four after their consecutive appearances in 2013-14 and 2014-15, he was a pivotal cog in the team’s two Sweet Sixteen runs his freshman and sophomore year and he would’ve had the team in the Elite Eight in 2016-17 were it not for a miraculous three pointer by Florida’s Chris Chiozza at the overtime buzzer.

Nigel Hayes (2013-2017)

Like Kaminsky, Nigel Hayes gets a boost due to the team’s run of success during his time in Madison. Unlike Kaminsky, though, Hayes finished his Badger career near the top of seemingly every leaderboard. He is the only player in school history to finish inside the top-10 in all-time points, assists and rebounds, finished with the fourth-most points in school history (third but has since been passed by Happ), played in the most games in school history (150), was the second player in Big Ten History to top 1800 points, 700 rebounds and 300 assists and, again, was one of the main catalysts for the best four-year run of success in school history. He may have been overshadowed a bit by Sam Dekker and Kaminsky on the two Final Four teams, but his consistent production for four years, versatility and team success make it necessary to put him on this list.

Alando Tucker (2002-2007)

Finally, and no I did not forget about him, the school’s all-time leading scorer Alando Tucker. Tucker finished his Badger career with 2217 points, 769 rebounds and an impressive 134 games played. He was also the school’s first consensus 1st-team All-American since 1942, the Big Ten Player of the Year as a senior, helped lead Wisconsin to the Elite Eight in 2004-2005 and really ushered in the Bo Ryan era of Badger basketball, arguably the best run of success the school has had in its history. He came years before current students like myself even followed college sports but his greatness and impact on the program is undeniable.
