LOOK: Chiefs DB Joshua Williams’ comical expression during insane Bryan Cook TD

To say that #Chiefs DB Joshua Williams was surprised when Mike Edwards lateraled to Bryan Cook in Week 9 would be an understatement.

Fans weren’t the only people whose eyes bugged out during Bryan Cook’s insane touchdown in the Kansas City Chiefs’ Week 9 matchup against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.

Defensive back Joshua Williams can be seen with a comical expression on his face in a picture of the play that occurred in the second quarter of Kansas City’s international matchup in Frankfurt, Germany.

To say he looked surprised would be an understatement:

Williams didn’t touch the ball but was right in the thick of the action when Mike Edwards lateraled to Cook after recovering a fumble forced by Trent McDuffie. Cook would take the ball more than 50 yards to paydirt to give Kansas City a 21-point lead with mere seconds remaining before halftime.

Pictures like this are a great way to see plays from the perspective of the players who participated in them, and Chiefs Kingdom can certainly relate to the intense emotion displayed by Williams in this shot.

LOOK: Chiefs RB Jerick McKinnon sports new hairstyle for matchup vs. Lions

Jerick McKinnon showed off his bold new hairstyle ahead of the #Chiefs’ matchup against the #Lions on Thursday night.

Kansas City Chiefs running back Jerick McKinnon has quickly become a fan-favorite in his relatively brief career with the team, and his personality is the stuff of legend.

His quick wit, charming personality, and agreeable nature have made him a beloved member of Chiefs Kingdom. Fans got another reason to dote on the speedy rusher on Thursday evening when he showed off his new hairstyle ahead of Kansas City’s matchup against the Detroit Lions.

McKinnon’s new blond look may take some time for fans to get used to, but when he puts his helmet on nobody will be able to tell the difference.

Confidence is key for players in the NFL, and McKinnon certainly seemed to be comfortable with his new hairdo in the clip that the Chiefs shared on Twitter. Now, he will need to make that confidence translate to the field, especially in the passing game as Kansas City is set to take on the Lions without star tight end Travis Kelce.

LOOK: Chiefs LB Leo Chenal recovers fumble vs. Browns

Chiefs linebacker Leo Chenal reccovered a fumble to set up Kansas City’s first scoring drive against the Browns.

The Kansas City Chiefs got off to a hot start against the Cleveland Browns in their preseason finale on Saturday after linebacker Leo Chenal recovered a fumble on the game’s first drive.

The play came on second down when Cleveland attempted to run the ball to set up a third and short situation. Deshaun Watson mishandled the handoff and put the ball on the ground, where Chenal was quick to jump on it before the Browns had a chance to get it back.

Kansas City will need more standout defensive efforts like this if they intend to end their preseason schedule with a second win. The team would have entered this game with a spotless record if not for a heartbreaking defeat at the hands of the New Orleans Saints in their first exhibition matchup in August.

Watch for Chenal to continue playing with an edge as he helps lift the Chiefs’ defense to victory against the Browns.

Bijan Robinson is living his best life.

Texas running back Bijan Robinson is living his best life.

Robinson traveled out to Los Angeles to sit courtside at the Lakers vs. Nuggets matchup on Friday night. After the game, Bijan got the chance to talk with NBA superstar LeBron James.

The Doak Walker Award winner also spent time visiting with Ezekial Elliot and the Dallas Cowboys earlier this month.

Pro scouts expect Robinson to be the first running back taken off the board in the 2023 NFL Draft. ESPN’s latest mock draft has him going as high as the No. 5 overall pick.

Robinson paced Texas’ offense this season with 258 carries for 1,580 yards and 18 rushing touchdowns. He showed off his versatility by adding 19 receptions for 314 yards and two scores as a receiver. Robinson will go down as one of the best running backs to ever wear the burnt orange.

LOOK: New Wisconsin HC Luke Fickell arrives in Madison

Highlights of new Wisconsin head coach Luke Fickell’s arrival on campus and first day:

After a whirlwind of a day following Wisconsin’s loss to the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Saturday night, the Badgers’ new head coach Luke Fickell arrived with his family in Madison, Wisconsin, on Sunday night.

The news of Wisconsin targeting Cincinnati head coach Luke Fickell as the team’s next head coach early on Sunday by ESPN’s Pete Thamel, and his hiring was confirmed by Wisconsin athletic director Chris McIntosh in a statement only a couple of hours later. This news came as a surprise to many Badger fans who expected interim head coach Jim Leonhard to be named in the next few days.

Fickell spent his first day on campus taking part in his welcome event as well as touring the football facilities. It will interesting to see what changes are implemented in his first few weeks as head coach.

Below are some highlights of Luke Fickell’s first day as head coach of the Wisconsin Badgers:

Notre Dame makes slight tweak to iconic helmet

This is different!

Notre Dame’s iconic golden helmet will look different Saturday night when the Fighting Irish take the field at No. 2 Ohio State.

Not much different, but different nonetheless.

Notre Dame football’s official Twitter account posted a few pictures before the contest Saturday as the uniforms were being prepped in the Ohio Stadium locker room for the evening showdown. For the most part, everything looked exactly as it has with the road uniform and helmet for years.

Except for one tiny detail.

The front of the helmet that previously said “IRISH” in navy blue is gone and in its place is a gold interlocking “ND”.  Take a look below.

Two hours until kickoff.

Let’s. Go.

There were a few Badgers that had exceptional performances including receivers Kendric Pryor and Danny Davis III, who were signed as undrafted free agents by the Bengals and Packers in May. Impressively, both receivers were able to haul in touchdowns in their NFL preseason debuts.

There are still a few weeks of the preseason left, but it is outstanding to see so many former Badgers doing so well.

Below are some of the best photos of former Badgers’ in their 2022 NFL preseason debuts:

There were several cool previews for next season in the posts, including the first look at some of Wisconsin’s incoming freshmen and transfers fully suited up in their uniforms. A photo from running back Braelon Allen also shows Chez Mellusi wearing No. 1 compared to being No. 6 last year.

Even though it is not quite fall camp yet, seeing the players in their uniforms makes me anticipate Wisconsin’s opener against Illinois State on Sept. 3 even more.

Here are some of the Badgers’ player photos for the upcoming 2022 season:

The field being renamed was a surprise from the Badgers to legendary former Wisconsin AD and head coach, Barry Alvarez, during his retirement ceremony at Camp Randall on Oct. 2.

In addition to the new turf field, Wisconsin will be unveiling the completed CR Future Project for the first home game of the upcoming season. The south endzone renovation will include new premium seating and concessions options for fans.

It will be exciting to see all of the changes to Camp Randall at the start of this season, and hopefully, these additions can help add to the already fantastic fan experience in Madison, Wis.

Former Badgers’ cornerback Caesar Williams is a part of this group as he participated in his very first practice with the Los Angeles Rams on Tuesday morning. According to photos from his Twitter post, Williams will be wearing No. 35 for the Rams and is joining several former Badgers on the roster.

In his final season at Wisconsin, Williams recorded 28 total tackles, five pass deflections, three interceptions and a forced fumble.

It is very cool to see Williams in his new NFL uniform, and hopefully, the former Badgers’ standout CB can earn his way onto the Rams roster.
