Watch Ohio State’s Ryan Day on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon

Making the rounds #GoBucks

Life is good when you’re a national championship winning coach. And right now, life is good for Ohio State head coach Ryan Day. It has been a whirlwind for Day in the week following the Buckeye win over Notre Dame in the College Football Playoff Championship Game. Television, radio, and public appearances have taken a great deal of the head coach’s time. And he’s done it all grinning ear to ear.

On Monday evening, Day appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to share some of the experience. He was asked a variety of questions from what the final moments felt like, to LeBron James, and even his Super Bowl prediction. You can see some of the best clips below.

Ariana Grande and Jimmy Fallon hilariously re-enacted an infamous The Wizard of Oz meme

“She came down in a bubble, Doug!”

Wicked hits theaters next week, and anticipation is wildly high for Jon M. Chu’s film adaptation of the popular (see what we did there?) musical. Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo lead a star-studded cast that includes the likes of Jonathan Bailey, Michelle Yeoh and Jeff Goldblum.

Grande joined late night host Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show on Thursday night, and the duo decided to recreate an absolutely iconic Wizard of Oz related meme before the show for social media.

In the clip, Grande and Fallon brought the 2018 argument to life, flawlessly delivering lines like “You’re going to look at me and tell me that I’m wrong?” and “She wore a crown, and she came down in a bubble, Doug!”

Absolute perfection.

Raygun the Australian breakdancer gets a Tonight Show parody courtesy of Rachel Dratch

Raygun is everywhere.

Raygun continues to be the Australian breakdancer we loved from the 2024 Paris Olympics, despite the fact that the memes of her performance in breaking are still rolling in.

This time, we got a parody from the great Rachel Dratch on The Tonight Show, who played the Aussie Olympic star, but she doesn’t say a word to Jimmy Fallon, who asked a few questions to her before the pair of them started doing Raygun’s patented dance moves. You had to see this coming now that the Olympics are over.

Take a look and see the quick cameo from Dratch, who definitely nailed some of the moves:

Jimmy Fallon posted an epic TikTok with Steph Curry posing for him in the middle of the Olympic gold-medal game

What a way to get an amazing TikTok.

Jimmy Fallon has worked with Steph Curry before, so maybe it was easy for the superstar who delivered an all-timer of a performance for Olympic gold to pose for the Tonight Show host in the middle of a game.

Because that’s exactly what happened. Curry hit a shot and hit a pose right at Fallon, who was filming him for one of those “Are you happy to be in Paris? OUI!” TikTok videos that we’ve seen athletes, fans and pretty much everyone else do while the Olympics has been going on.

The video really did some out amazingly, so here it is:

Pulisic tells Fallon he’ll (maybe) do ‘Three Amigos’ salute if he scores vs. Man City

If Pulisic scores on Saturday, the tension will be enormous

Christian Pulisic didn’t exactly guarantee it, but there seems to be a decent chance the AC Milan star will break out an unorthodox celebration if he scores against Manchester City on Saturday.

Pulisic was a guest on “The Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon on Thursday, as the U.S. men’s national team star made his late-night debut.

The forward was in New York promoting AC Milan’s three-game preseason tour of the USA, which kicks off Saturday at Yankee Stadium against the Premier League champions.

If Pulisic scores in that match, Fallon is hoping he’ll perform a throwback celebration that pays tribute to a movie that was released 12 years before he was born.

Fallon requested Pulisic perform the “Three Amigos” salute, with which the forward understandably didn’t seem to be familiar.

For those, like Pulisic, who don’t remember the 1986 classic starring Chevy Chase, Steve Martin and Martin Short, the salute goes like this:

Fallon reenacted the salute in front of Pulisic and though he didn’t exactly get a guarantee that that USMNT star will honor the John Landis film if he finds the net at Yankee Stadium, it wasn’t a hard no either.

If Pulisic scores on Saturday, the tension will be enormous.

Tiger Woods tells a very funny story about why he wears Sunday red thanks to his mom

This is a funny story.

I’ll be honest: I don’t think I’ve heard this Tiger Woods story before, which is a bit strange given that it feels like we all know so much about the golf legend.

While promoting his very expensive Sun Day Red collection that’s available for purchase, Tiger was on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, who asked why the golfer wears his customary red on Sundays (that’s Sunday red, not to be confused with the apparel from Sun Day Red).

He said that his mom told him that red was his “power color,” and that he wore blue to spite her when he was younger, but he didn’t win those tournaments, so red it was.

Very funny!

Tiger Woods goes on Jimmy Fallon, explains Sun Day Red, has fun with Masters tree memes

Wearing blue, Tiger talks about his Sun Day Red line.

Tiger Woods introduced his Sun Day Red brand in February. Now, his collab with TaylorMade is about to embark on the official launch of his Sun Day Red line.

Woods wore the new apparel at his tournament in Los Angeles, the Genesis Invitational, for the first time after a split with Nike after 27 years. He then sported the new look at Augusta National Golf Club in April, the first time he roamed the fairways there not wearing Nike in almost three decades.

Tuesday night, Woods made a late-night TV appearance on Jimmy Fallon, who asked him about the name Sun Day Red – yes, it’s three words – and how choice to wear red on Sundays came to be.

“Maybe because I’ve won a few tournaments on Sunday and wearing red,” he said, while actually wearing a blue shirt. He then went on to explain how his mom deserves the credit.

“The red story is actually a good one. It comes from my mom. My mom thought it was, being a capricorn, whatever, it was power color, some BS like that. I end up wearing red and winning some junior golf tournaments. So to spite her, I wore blue and I did not win those tournaments so, Mom was always right.”

But perhaps the better part of his visit to the late night talk show set was a bit where Fallon brought out the picture of Woods shaking Verne Lundquist’s hand on the 16th hole at the Masters. From the angle the camera got, it looks like Woods was merely shaking an arm sticking out from behind the tree.

As golf fans know, Memes ensued. Fallon made sure to bring it up to Tiger.

“It was all over the internet,” Fallon said. Tiger, playing along, said, “What happened?”

Jimmy Fallon had the perfect Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift joke in his annual NFL Superlatives before the Super Bowl

Well played, Jimmy Fallon.

Ah, it’s NFL Superlatives season on The Tonight Show, the time when Jimmy Fallon looks at headshot photos of Super Bowl participants and makes yearbook jokes about them.

This time, with the Kansas City Chiefs playing again, you know he had to make some Taylor Swift jokes about Travis Kelce.

First, he started with Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes: “Most likely to be called the GOAT (Gets Only Asked About Taylor).” And by the end, it was Kelce’s turn, and Fallon nailed it.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

“Most likely to ask his teammates, ‘Hey, what would you get a billionaire for Valentine’s Day?'” he said.

Perfect!

The legend of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce continues to grow, with his visibility increasing beyond the football field. Another example occurred on the golf course, of all places, featuring an iconic pop star.

World famous entertainer Justin Timberlake appeared on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday night to share an exciting experience at the 8AM Golf Invitational at the Wynn Golf Club in Las Vegas with two Chiefs stars.

Timberlake recalled a golf tournament with Fallon, Kelce, and Patrick Mahomes for charity that had a hilarious moment — following Fallon’s successful shot on a hole, he celebrated with Timberlake only to be unexpectedly joined by the Chiefs duo.

Wynn Golf Club: How much does it cost, how to book a tee time

“I saw my life flash before my eyes; he went up and did one of those, you know, when they jump, and I was like he’s doing it,” said Timberlake, referring to Kelce’s playful ‘tackle’ celebration. “I have to do it, and I forgot that he weighs like 80 pounds more than me.”

Timberlake jokingly said he couldn’t move his neck for a week after the celebratory tackle. He also confirmed that he does text occasionally with Kelce but not at the moment because he’s busy right now, referring to the Chiefs preparing for this Sunday’s AFC Championship game.
