The Senegalese big man will be an affiliate player of the Cavs.

Former Boston Celtics two way big man Tacko Fall has signed with the Cleveland Cavaliers’ developmental affiliate in the G League, the Canton Charge according to a recent press release circulated by the team.

Fall, a center out of the University of Central Florida picked up by the Celtics on a two way deal after going unselected in the 2019 NBA draft, had previously signed with the Cavs as a two way player after a pair of seasons in a similar role with Boston ended this summer. The Senegalese big man will play as an in-season affiliate player for the team according to the release.

Cut by the Cavs on Jan. 9, Fall had played mainly with the parent club as a two way player in the 2021-22 season, having played just one contest with the Charge before signing with them.

Fall also played in four games during the G League’s Showcase Cup tournament this season, recording 23.3 points on .731 shooting with 13.3 rebounds and 3.0 blocks in 28.4 minutes per game.
