Cameron Kinnie is transferring to the UCF Knights. His transfer will help strengthen UCF’s offensive front. Kinnie joins another Georgia transfer, Divaad Wilson, on UCF’s roster.

Former Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn is the head coach at UCF. Malzahn was fired up to land a commitment from Kinnie:

Kinnie redshirted the 2020 season and did not appear in a contest during the 2021 season. Kinnie primarily played on Georgia’s scout team. He was projected as a depth player again in 2022.

The Georgia Bulldogs and coach Kirby Smart have offered a scholarship to 2020 three-star defensive end Cameron Kinnie.

The Georgia Bulldogs have offered a scholarship to 2020 three-star defensive end Cameron Kinnie. Kirby Smart and the Dawgs are offering Kinnie quite late in the process. In fact, Kinnie has just over two weeks before National Signing Day on February 5th.

Kinnie has been relatively lightly recruited, but may be a diamond in the rough for Georgia. Kinnie was delighted to receive an offer following an in-home visit from Kirby Smart:

Kinnie played defensive end and defensive tackle for Collins Hill during his high school football career. His hometown is Suwanee, Georgia.

Will Kinnie commit to the University of Georgia following his offer? It’ll only be a few weeks, at the latest, before we find out. Kinnie has played for the USA National Team. He also has experience as an offensive lineman.

Kirby Smart and UGA have a top-five class of 2020 (so far). Additionally, the Dawgs just got a commitment from the best pocket passer in the class of 2021.
