Baltimore GM Eric DeCosta and head coach John Harbaugh will head to Indianapolis for the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine and start the journey of retooling a roster that is in flux and set to see significant changes at offensive tackle, running back, wide receiver, linebacker, and cornerback among others.

With the NFL Combine complete and pre-free agency discussions set to begin, we’re projecting all seven rounds of April’s NFL draft for the Ravens via PFF.

Texas players that improved their draft stock at NFL combine

Multiple Texas players improved their perception leading up to the NFL draft.

The NFL draft approaches as pro football franchises will have to make difficult decisions. Those decisions revolve around which players can bring their team closer to a championship.

The scouting process for NFL teams involves several steps including game film, character evaluation, interviews with their team among other steps. One of the final steps took place over the weekend at the NFL combine. Multiple Longhorns punctuated good film with impressive measurable testing times.

Most notably, Texas wide receiver Xavier Worthy posted a 4.21 second 40-yard dash to break the NFL combine record set by fellow wide receiver John Ross (4.22). The sprint made waves among those involved with college football and the NFL.

Here’s a look at what Worthy and other Texas players accomplished over the weekend.

INDIANAPOLIS — For some draft prospects, the scouting combine on-field drills are mere confirmation for NFL teams looking to add a bit to positive tape study and personal interviews. For others, it’s a bigger deal, as great numbers might have some personnel people going back to that tape to see what they might have missed the first time around.

On Thursday afternoon and evening, we saw the defensive linemen, edge defenders, and off-ball linebackers do their thing on the field at Lucas Oil Stadium. While a lot of prospects acquitted themselves well, here are the ones who did the most to stand out, and to potentially see their stocks rise through the next two months before the 2024 NFL draft is in the bag.
