Biggest questions for the Bills offense heading into the NFL Draft

Biggest questions for the #Bills offense heading into the NFL Draft (via @jdiloro):

The Buffalo Bills are heading into their first offseason in a number of years in which the team has significant concerns regarding the roster. Buffalo has six draft picks to help fill in some gaps on the roster.

In addition to sitting in the middle of a championship window, the Bills must consider long-term development to complete their roster for the 2023 season and beyond.

While the Bills have several Pro Bowl-caliber players on offense, there are still several questions that the unit has following their early playoff exit to the Cincinnati Bengals.

With that, here are the biggest questions facing the Buffalo offense ahead of the 2023 NFL draft:

Texas RB Bijan Robinson trending in right direction to play vs. TCU

It was reported on Friday by Anwar Richardson that Texas running back Bijan Robinson was able to practice on Thursday.

Bijan Robinson among the top 25 running back projections

247 released their latest top 25 position projections, this time at running back. Incoming freshman Bijan Robinson among the list.

Recently 247 Sports put together their list of top quarterbacks for the 2020 season which included Texas quarterback Sam Ehlinger. The next list of projections from 247 is the running backs. On this particular list one Texas running back made the list which included plenty of talented backs. Bijan Robinson comes in at number 23.

One of two true freshman in this Top 25, Robinson — a five-star — could flourish as a first-year player with the Longhorns after rushing for more than 7,000 yards at the prep level. He was the crown jewel in an impressive haul for Tom Herman.

The fact that a true freshman running back that has yet to take a snap for a team, much less actually stepped foot on his new campus is quite the compliment. There has been plenty of hype surrounding the number one running back in the country according to 247 composite rankings. Much of it is warranted considering what he was able to accomplish on the field in Arizona.

Other Big 12 running backs to make the list:

  • 1: Chuba Hubbard, Oklahoma State
  • 10: Breece Hall, Iowa State
  • 13: Pooka Williams, Kansas
  • 20: Kennedy Brooks, Oklahoma

The Big 12 has plenty of talent at the position and which running back will stand the tallest by the end of the season will be exciting to watch. The Longhorns have three running backs who will likely be in the mix during 2020 season. However, Bijan Robinson should be the one who stands tallest for the Longhorns by seasons end.

Bijan Robinson officially signs for the Longhorns

It has been a long time coming for Texas fans, as five-star RB Bijan Robinson has officially signed. Robinson will make an instant impact.

It has been a long time coming for Longhorn fans, as five-star running back Bijan Robinson has officially signed his national letter of intent to join Texas. Robinson has been verbally committed since early August and is the 13th highest-rated recruit the Longhorns have landed in their history according to 247Sports.

The 6 foot, 200 pound running back is from Salpointe Catholic High School in Tuscon, AZ. 247Sports has Robinson as the second-best running back in the 2020 class, only behind Zachary Evans of Houston, TX. Robinson was also considering Ohio State and USC but stuck with his commitment to Texas.

Robinson’s numbers in high school were insane. He has rushed for 2,000 yards in three consecutive seasons, totaling at 7,036 yards over four years. Not only did he get yards, but he put the ball in the endzone. In his senior season, Robinson had 38 rushing touchdowns and had 103 in four years.

Texas had some problems at running back this season, with players at the position being injured all year. Freshman Roschon Johnson, who came in as the third-string quarterback, ended up getting a decent amount of snaps in the backfield. With Robinson coming in, he is expected to make an instant impact and make the position group one of the best in the conference.
