RECRUITING SPOTLIGHT: 2024 WR, Alabama commit Amari Jefferson

This week, the Recruiting Spotlight is put on highlight 2024 wide receiver and Alabama commit Amari Jefferson.

When you think of a versatile athlete, what comes to mind? Well, a specific player that comes to my mind is 2024 wide receiver and Alabama commit Amari Jefferson.

The native of Chattanooga, Tennessee is a dual-sport athlete at The Baylor School. There, he plays both baseball and football. Jefferson not only plays both but is extremely good at both. In August, Jefferson committed to Alabama to play both sports at the college level.

With that being the case, he will likely enroll at Alabama following the conclusion of his senior year. For now, he is focusing on football and has been tearing it up on the gridiron to begin his senior season.

Jefferson has been an integral part of the Red Raiders offense this season. He has helped lead them to a 3-1 start to the season.

During his junior season, the same could be said. Jefferson hauled in 72 receptions for 1,370 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns.

Jefferson could be called on to play multiple positions upon arriving in Tuscaloosa. He has the capability on special teams as well as at both wide receiver and running back. Regardless of where he plays, he is sure to make a quick impact on Alabama’s offense.

Roll Tide Wire will continue to follow Alabama commits during the 2023 season.
