2023 Women’s World Cup: Germany vs. Colombia odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Sunday’s Germany vs. Colombia odds and lines, with Women’s World Cup soccer expert picks, predictions and best bets.

Germany (1 win, 0 draws, 0 losses) battles Colombia (1-0-0) Sunday. Kickoff in the Group H match from Allianz Stadium is set for 5:30 a.m. ET. Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Germany vs. Colombia odds, and make our best Women’s World Cup bets, picks and predictions.

Germany put a beatdown on Morocco in its 1st game, winning 6-0. It had 16 shots and 7 on target. It yielded Morocco just 6 shots and 4 on target. Germany ended with 75% of the game’s possession. Germany sits 2nd in the world per the FIFA Women’s Rankings. F Alexandra Popp had 2 goals in Germany’s 1st match, and she could be a candidate for the Golden Boot.

Colombia beat South Korea in its opener 2-0 Monday. It ended with 17 shots and 5 on target, possessing for 57% of the match. South Korea ended with just 5 shots and 3 on frame. Colombia sits 25th in the rankings. Korea sits 17th, so it was a solid win for Colombia. With a win, Colombia can advance to the knockout stage.

  • Over/Under: 2.5 (O: -160 | U: +115)

Germany vs. Colombia picks and predictions

Prediction

Germany 2, Colombia 0

Moneyline (ML)

PASS.

Germany is the better side here, and it is among the most technically gifted teams in the world.

However, it was able to get some help from a sloppy Morocco defense, which allowed 2 own goals, so expect a somewhat closer match. At (-450), there is little value in betting Germany to win, but it should be too much better in the final third to bet again.

The books also heavily expected Germany to be the only side to score with BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE NO (-185), which also isn’t worth the juice.

Over/Under (O/U)

BET UNDER 2.5 (+115).

Both sides showed a strong defensive acumen in their respective opener. Both teams held their opponent scoreless. Colombia allowed just 3 shots on target, which should bode well against a high-octane German attack.

Books already assume Colombia won’t score, and Germany held Morocco to just 4 shots on goal and 25% possession. That might be a similar story Sunday. The last time Germany scored 3 or more goals, before its match with Morocco, was Sept. 6, 2022.

It isn’t necessarily a scoring machine, and Colombia held up well against a top-25 South Korea side. That said, back the UNDER 2.5 (+115).

2023 Women’s World Cup: Switzerland vs. New Zealand odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Sunday’s Switzerland vs. New Zealand odds and lines, with Women’s World Cup soccer expert picks, predictions and best bets.

Switzerland (1 win, 1 draw, 0 losses) battles New Zealand (1-0-1) in each nation’s final group stage game. Kickoff from Forsyth Barr Stadium is set for 3 a.m. ET Sunday (FOX). Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Switzerland vs. New Zealand odds, and make our best Women’s World Cup bets, picks and predictions.

Switzerland beat the Philippines 2-0 July 21. It had 17 shots, 8 of which were on target. It held the Philippines to 0 shots on goal. It controlled the ball for 74% of the match. Then, Tuesday, it drew Norway 0-0, having 7 fewer shots and 4 fewer shots on target. With a draw or win, Switzerland will win Group A and advance to the knockout stage. It sits 20th on the FIFA Women’s Rankings.

Co-host New Zealand opened its World Cup campaign with a colossal 1-0 win over Norway, which ranks 12th. New Zealand sits 26th. New Zealand then abruptly lost to the Philippines 1-0 despite having 12 more shots and 3 more shots on goal. Norway is a huge favorite over the Philippines Sunday. If Norway wins, New Zealand will need a win or a draw along with a better goal differential to advance.

  • Over/Under: 1.5 (O: -200 | U: +140)

Switzerland vs. New Zealand picks and predictions

Prediction

Switzerland 1, New Zealand 1

Moneyline (ML)

SPRINKLE DRAW (+210).

Neither side will want to lose this match, and that should aid a tied outcome. While New Zealand will have the crowd on its side and was impressive in an emotional opener, it was the exact opposite against the Philippines.

New Zealand, a formidable opponent, dominated the Philippines for most of that match despite the loss. Switzerland drew Norway, and New Zealand beat Norway. Switzerland only beat Philippines 2-0 despite owning possession 74% of the match.

Each side has proven it can compete at a high level and should do so here. Expect a close, hard-fought match and, at this value, back a DRAW (+210).

Over/Under (O/U)

PASS. BET BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE (+120).

Betting Under 2.5 goals is the smart play, but it is too expensive to back at (-210). Both teams to score poses a great plus-money wager.

The New Zealand defense isn’t quite as strong as Norway, and Switzerland should be able to break through, as it did against the Philippines. Switzerland has a combined 9 shots on goal through 2 matches, scoring 2 goals on those.

New Zealand scored against Norway, and while it was held without a goal against the Philippines, it did have 16 shots (4 on target) and was able to get into the final third. It should be better in front of goal Sunday.

Both teams have the quality to score, and at this value, bet BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE (+120).

2023 Women’s World Cup: Norway vs. Philippines odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Sunday’s Norway vs. Philippines odds and lines, with Women’s World Cup soccer expert picks, predictions and best bets.

Norway (0 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss) takes on Philippines (1-0-1) Sunday in the final Group A battle for both nations. Kickoff from Eden Park is set for 3 a.m. ET (FS1). Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Norway vs. Philippines odds, and make our best Women’s World Cup bets, picks and predictions.

Norway commenced its World Cup play with a 1-0 loss against co-host New Zealand. It had 1 more shot and as many on target as the co-host. In its 2nd match, which was Tuesday, it drew Switzerland 0-0. It had 7 more shots and 4 more on target yet didn’t manage a goal. Norway, which ranks No. 12 in the world per FIFA Women’s Rankings, was a strong favorite to get out of the group.

The Philippines rank 46th in the world. It beat New Zealand 1-0 following a 2-0 loss to Switzerland to open its World Cup action. It didn’t even manage a shot on target against Switzerland, allowing 8 shots on goal. It even had 12 fewer shots and 3 fewer shots on target than New Zealand despite coming out victorious. It had under 35% possession in both battles.

  • Over/Under: 3.5 (O: +130 | U: -185)

Norway vs. Philippines picks and predictions

Prediction

Norway 3, Philippines 0

Moneyline (ML)

PASS.

There’s not much value on the moneyline nor a team-specific wager.

Norway is a strong favorite, and although it hasn’t won in the World Cup, its performances have looked like that of a team capable of going deep in the event.

At (-800), it is unplayable to win outright, and even both teams not to score at (-275) isn’t good enough value to consider. Ultimately, pass on team-specific wager.

Over/Under (O/U)

BET NORWAY OVER 2.5 (-135).

Norway, unless New Zealand loses, will need goal differential to help it get to the next round. That means it will want to put it on the Philippines.

Norway hasn’t scored yet in this tournament but had 15 shots against Switzerland and scored 2 or more in 3 straight games before the World Cup. It scored 2 on Portugal, 3 on Sweden and 2 on Spain – the latter 2 are top-tier nations.

It has a few elite scorers in F Ada Hegerberg and F Caroline Hansen, both of which can finish in the final third. Expect a betting showing from Norway and for its attack to come alive.

Take NORWAY OVER 2.5 (-135).

2023 Women’s World Cup: South Korea vs. Morocco odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Sunday’s South Korea vs. Morocco odds and lines, with Women’s World Cup soccer expert picks, predictions and best bets.

South Korea (0 wins, 0 draws, 1 loss) takes on Morocco (0-0-1) Sunday in each nation’s 2nd 2023 Women’s World Cup match. Kickoff from Hindmarsh Stadium is set for 12:30 a.m. ET (FOX). Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the South Korea vs. Morocco odds, and make our best Women’s World Cup bets, picks and predictions.

South Korea lost 2-0 to Columbia Monday. It ended the game with 5 shots, 3 of those being on target. It also had 42% of the possession. It allowed 17 shots (5 on target) to Columbia. South Korea didn’t live up to expectations as it sits 17th in the Women’s World Rankings. South Korea won 3 straight friendlies before the World Cup, beating Haiti, which made the tournament 2-1 July 8.

Morocco faced the top-ranked Group H side, Germany, to commence its World Cup action. It was dominated from the start, allowing a goal in the 11th minute and eventually losing 6-0. It did manage 4 shots on target which was just 3 fewer than Germany. The concerning part came in the possession in which Morocco had just 26%. Morocco ranks 72nd in the world.

  • Over/Under: 2.5 (O: +125 | U: -175)

South Korea vs. Morocco picks and predictions

Prediction

South Korea 1, Morocco 0

Moneyline (ML)

BET SOUTH KOREA (-165).

This is just on the edge of being unplayable, but South Korea will need a win to keep its World Cup knockout stage aspirations alive. It could get lucky and take on a carefree Germany side if it beats Columbia.

A win here keeps Korea alive. It didn’t perform well against Columbia but will be facing a more porous defense. Morocco struggled heavily in the defending third, scoring 2 own goals.

South Korea’s form coming into the World Cup, taking down Haiti and winning 3 in a row, give enough confidence to lay the juice here. Morocco lost 3 of 5 coming into the World Cup, one of which was a 1-0 defeat to Jamaica.

Given South Korea should have the more technically sound players and the better defense, take SOUTH KOREA (-165).

Over/Under (O/U)

LEAN UNDER ALTERNATE 1.5 (+165).

Morocco’s offense is not good and has not produced over the last several months. Morocco hasn’t scored in 6 straight games and has gone Under even this total in 4 of its last 5.

Although a 6-0 defeat is jarring, Germany is among the top nations in the world and played like one. While South Korea should press enough to score and win, it had just 3 shots on goal against Columbia.

South Korea’s offense struggled against Columbia and Morocco’s hasn’t been existent since February. Take UNDER 1.5 (+165).

2023 Women’s World Cup: Panama vs. Jamaica odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s Panama vs. Jamaica odds and lines, with Women’s World Cup soccer expert picks, predictions and best bets.

Panama (0 wins, 0 draws, 1 loss) battles Jamaica (0-1-0) in the Group F match Saturday. Kickoff from Perth Rectangular Stadium in Australia is set for 8:30 a.m. ET (FOX). Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Panama vs. Jamaica odds, and make our best Women’s World Cup bets, picks and predictions.

Panama was on the wrong end of an ugly 4-0 defeat against Brazil Monday. It allowed 32 shots, 10 of which were on target. Panama ended with 6 shots and 2 on target and just 27% of the possession. Panama, the No. 52 nation in FIFA Women’s World Rankings, is 6-5-1 this calendar year. It lost 7-0 to Spain June 29 and 5-0 to Japan July 14 in its 2 matches prior to the World Cup.

Jamaica, despite a 92nd-minute red card to F Khadija Shaw, drew 5th-ranked France 0-0. It ended with 6 shots and 2 on target, allowing 14 and 5, respectively. It had just 27% of the possession. Jamaica, No. 43 in the FIFA rankings, is 2-2-5 this year. It beat Morocco 1-0 after a 7-3 loss to Mexico leading up to the World Cup.

  • Over/Under: 1.5 (O: -200 | U: +140)

Panama vs. Jamaica picks and predictions

Prediction

Panama 1, Jamaica 1

Moneyline (ML)

SPRINKLE DRAW (+240).

Panama and Jamaica might have had far different results in its opening matches, but both rank outside the top 40 in the FIFA rankings and both allowed double-digit shots in their Cup openers.

Jamaica will be without its top forward in this match as Shaw will serve her red-card suspension. Shaw, the team’s captain, was Jamaica’s most electric offensive player vs. France. Jamaica only had 2 shots on target vs. France, and playing without its best offensive player will be even more troublesome.

Panama has won 6 games in 2023 and has the ability to keep up with Jamaica. Expect it to have a better showing than it did against Brazil, a nation that should be in contention to win the World Cup.

Over/Under (O/U)

PASS. Instead, BET BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE (+130).

Taking the Over on the total just doesn’t make sense as Over 1.5 (-200) is too expensive to play. However, both teams should be able to play a more aggressive style as it won’t be taking on a top-10 opponent.

Jamaica scored in its 5 games prior to taking on France, scoring 2 or more goals in 2 of those. Panama has scored in 7 of 12 games in 2023 and has really only been held scoreless against top-tier sides like Spain, Japan and Brazil.

While the Over isn’t a smart play at -200, both attacks should come to life. Back BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE (+130).

2023 Women’s World Cup: France vs. Brazil odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s France vs. Brazil odds and lines, with Women’s World Cup soccer expert picks, predictions and best bets.

France (0-1-0 / W-D-L) takes on Brazil (1-0-0) in the 2023 Women’s World Cup Saturday. Kickoff from Brisbane Stadium in Australia is set for 6 a.m. ET (FOX). Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the France vs. Brazil odds, and make our best Women’s World Cup bets, picks and predictions.

France is part of a loaded Group F that also includes Jamaica and Panama. It drew Jamaica 0-0 in its opener despite having 8 more shots and 3 more shots on target, respectively ending with 14 and 5. France controlled possession for 73% of the match yet failed to net a goal. It is among the World Cup favorites, sitting 5th on the FIFA Women’s World Rankings while Jamaica is 43rd.

Brazil is ranked 8th. While 37-year-old F Marta is still on the roster, Brazil was led by M Ary Borges in Monday’s win. Borges netted a hat trick as Brazil blasted No. 52 Panama 4-0, ending with 32 shots and 10 on target. Brazil has won 3 straight matches and is 11-1-3 over its last 12 calendar months.

France vs. Brazil picks and predictions

Prediction

Brazil 2, France 1

Moneyline (ML)

LEAN BRAZIL (+155).

Brazil has looked every bit the part of a team that can win the 2023 Women’s World Cup. It dominated Panama in every aspect, and unlike France, it was able to convert against a weaker opponent in the final 3rd. Its success against teams like Germany (2-1 win April 11) and England (1-1 draw April 6) are telling where it is at from a consistency perspective.

France didn’t have too many quality wins this calendar year and lost 1-0 to Australia in its last game prior to the World Cup. It isn’t playing at Brazil’s level right now.

Take BRAZIL (+155).

Over/Under (O/U)

BET OVER 2.5 (+125).

Brazil has gone Over this total in 4 of its last 5 matches with the lone 1 missing this total being a 1-1 draw with England. It won 2-1 against Germany (ranked No. 2) and lost 2-1 against the United States (ranked No. 1) in its last 5 matches. It can score on top-tier sides.

France might not have tallied a goal, but it did manage the opportunities which should lend most to believe it will have ample goal-scoring chances again. With 14 shots, expect France’s attack to be better in the final 3rd against Brazil. It has gone Over this total in 3 of its last 5 matches, scoring 3 or more in 2 of its last 5.

Given Brazil’s ability to play with pace and score against elite nation, take OVER 2.5 (+125).

2023 Women’s World Cup: Sweden vs. Italy odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s Sweden vs. Italy odds and lines, with Women’s World Cup soccer expert picks, predictions and best bets.

In a Group G matchup, Sweden (1-0-0 / W-D-L) and Italy (1-0-0) meet Saturday in the 2023 Women’s World Cup at Wellington Regional Stadium in New Zealand. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 a.m. ET (FS1). Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Sweden vs. Italy odds, and make our best Women’s World Cup bets, picks and predictions.

Sweden survived a scare from South Africa 2-1 in the opening match of Group G play in a damp night in Wellington last Sunday. The heavily-favored Swedes fell behind 10 at the 48′ mark, but Fridolina Rolfo answered at 65′, and Amanda Ilestedt scored at the 90′ point to help Sweden escape an embarrassing result.

Italy eased by Argentina 1-0 in a defensive battle, with Cristiana Girelli coming up with the heroics at 87′ to give Azzurri 3 points instead of just the 1 for a draw. Italy posted 4 shots on goal, to just 2 for Argentina, while it led the possession battle by a slim 53%-47% margin.

  • Over/Under: 2.5 (O: +135 | U: -190)

Sweden vs. Italy picks and predictions

Prediction

Italy 1, Sweden 1

Moneyline (ML)

I’m all-in on the DRAW (+210) for an opportunity to multiply the initial wager by 2.1 times.

Sweden was lucky to escape the opening match against a South African side it should have curb-stomped, while Italy scored late to avoid a draw against Argentina. In this matchup between table-toppers and group favorites, we should see both clubs play it rather close to the vest with very few chances taken.

Over/Under (O/U)

First off, I like NO (+138): GOAL TO BE SCORED 1ST HALF. I think we’ll get a rather boring first 45, as neither team wants to take a lot of chances, potentially giving the opposition a chance the other way.

As a result, I like 2ND HALF: HALF WITH MOST GOALS (+120) at plus-money, as we get a small, late flurry goals for the eventual draw.

And in case you were wondering, playing 1:1 (+550) CORRECT SCORE will help you multiply your initial wager by 5.5 times. It’s worth a roll of the dice. A 0:0 (+600) CORRECT SCORE is also worth a look. Sure, if the match ends 0-0 or 1-1, you would lose one end, but you’d still be well ahead.

If you’re a little more conservative and willing to play the juice, UNDER 2.5 GOALS (-190) is a slam-dunk play as far as I am concerned.

2023 Women’s World Cup: China vs. Haiti odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Friday’s China vs. Haiti odds and lines, with Women’s World Cup soccer expert picks, predictions and best bets.

China (0 wins, 0 draws, 1 loss) plays Haiti (0-0-1) in each nation’s 2nd Women’s World Cup matchday on Friday. Kickoff in the Group D battle at Hindmarsh Stadium is set for 7 a.m. ET (FS1). Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the China vs. Haiti odds, and make our best Women’s World Cup bets, picks and predictions.

China lost to Denmark 1-0 on Saturday, but it did have as many shots on target (2). China ended with 9 shots and 44% of the game’s possession. The No. 14 team in the FIFA Women’s World Rankings will need a win to keep knockout stage aspirations alive. China beat Russia 2-1 and 1-0 in July for its only 2023 wins. It was 2-3-3 in friendlies prior to the World Cup.

Haiti ranks 53rd in the world and is the only nation Group D outside the top 15. Haiti lost 1-0 Saturday to No. 4 England. It had 2 shots on goal and 7 shots while allowing 11 shots on goal and 21 overall. Haiti won 4 of 6 matches prior to the event, but lost to its only World Cup-making opponents, Nigeria 2-1 and South Korea 2-1.

  • Over/Under: 2.5 (O: +115 | U: -160)

China vs. Haiti picks and predictions

Prediction

China 2, Haiti 1

Moneyline (ML)

BET CHINA (-160).

Haiti has struggled this year against World Cup-caliber opponents. Both South Korea (2-0 loss to Columbia) and Nigeria (0-0 draw with Canada) were outplayed in their 1st match as well, further dampening Haiti’s 2-1 defeat by both teams. Haiti gave up 21 shots to England in a rough 1st match.

China lost as well, but it wasn’t dominated and played a respectable match against a top-13 side. China drew Columbia 2-2 in an unofficial friendly and has draws this calendar year against Ireland and Switzerland, both top-25 sides. It can compete with some top teams and should be able to take down a team of Haiti’s caliber.

Despite the juice, take CHINA (-160).

Over/Under (O/U)

LEAN OVER 2.5 (+115).

While Unders have been hot in the World Cup, Haiti had gone Over this total in every match this year prior to the event. It scored in every game as well, scoring multiple goals in 4 of 6 matches prior to the tournament. It had a good attack and porous defense, allowing 21 shots to England but still managing 7.

China has gone Over in 3 of its last 4 matches and in 4 of its last 6. It has scored multiple goals in 2 of its last 4 and should have more success against a weaker Haitian defense.

With teams starting to settle in and more goals being scored in Cup games in general, take the OVER 2.5 (+115).

England used a 29th-minute penalty kick from M Georgia Stanway to beat Haiti 1-0 in its opener. It had 21 shots and 11 on target, which respectively was 14 and 9 more than Haiti. It also had possession for 75% of the match. England is 4th in the FIFA Women’s World Rankings and is among the favorites to win the World Cup.

  • Moneyline: England -210 (bet $210 to win $100) | Denmark +750 (bet $100 to win $750) | Draw +310 (bet $100 to win $310)
  • Over/Under: 2.5 (O: +115 | U: -160)

England vs. Denmark picks and predictions

Prediction

England 1, Denmark 1

Moneyline (ML)

SPRINKLE DRAW (+310).

Denmark has been impressive during the calendar year and played China well. While it didn’t dominate China, both were top-15 sides, so it was a good competitive match. Denmark showed its depth. It has wins over Japan, Sweden, Uruguay and Norway this season, having only lost to top-6 sides.

England has drawn 3 of its last 5 matches, going 1-3-1 over that span, having lost 2-0 to Australia on April 11 and drawing both games in July before beating Haiti. These teams are closer on paper than the rankings suggest.

That said, back DRAW (+310) for a small unit.

Over/Under (O/U)

BET UNDER 2.5 (-160).

Denmark had 2 shots on target and held China to 2 shots on target. England’s 1 goal despite having 21 shots actually should be seen as an issue as well. Having 11 shots on target and 1 goal showcases lesser-than-expected finishing, which could mean it’ll struggle with fewer opportunities against Denmark.

Denmark has gone Under in in 4 straight matches and in 6 of 7 games this calendar year. England has gone Under in 5 straight matches and was held scoreless in 3 of those. England doesn’t have a single player on its team with 20+ international goals, and it has 3 players with 60+ caps on its defensive line.

The experience on the backline yet not in the final 3rd is cause for concern when it comes to its attack. Twelve of 18 games have gone Under 2.5 through Tuesday. Back UNDER 2.5 (-160).

2023 Women’s World Cup: Argentina vs. South Africa odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Thursday’s Argentina vs. South Africa odds and lines, with Women’s World Cup soccer expert picks, predictions and best bets.

South Africa (0 wins, 0 draws, 1 loss) battles Argentina (0-0-1) Thursday from Forsyth Barr Stadium. Kickoff in the 2nd Group G match for each nation is set for 8 p.m. ET (FS1). Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Argentina vs. South Africa odds, and make our best Women’s World Cup bets, picks and predictions.

South Africa almost pulled off the unthinkable in a 2-1 loss to Sweden. It went up 1-0 with a 48th-minute goal from M Hildah Magaia. South Africa ended the game with 4 shots on goal amid its 10 shots, respectively 2 and 5 fewer than its opponent. It had just 31% possession as well. South Africa is 54th in the FIFA Women’s World Rankings while Sweden sits 3rd.

Argentina ranks 28th and also lost its opening match, 1-0 to Italy conceding in the 87th minute. Argentina’s offense struggled mightily, ending with just 5 shots and 1 on target despite having 47% of the possession. Argentina vs. South Africa odds

Provided by BetMGM Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated Wednesday at 8:14 p.m. ET.

  • Moneyline: Argentina +105 (bet $100 to win $105) | Italy +270 (bet $100 to win $270) | Draw +220 (bet $100 to win $240)
  • Over/Under: 2.5 (O: +150 | U: -210)

Argentina vs. South Africa picks and predictions

Prediction

Argentina 1, South Africa 0

Moneyline (ML)

BET ARGENTINA (+105).

Argentina struggled in its opener, but Italy and Sweden were both the favorites in the group, so its losing isn’t too shocking. It has a solid track record this calendar year which is worth backing. It beat Venezuela 3-0 on April 9. Venezuela even sits above South Africa in the world rankings.

Despite having scored, South Africa had minimal possession and was generally dominated against the top-tier Sweden. While Argentina will be more at its level, South Africa’s lack of control was concerning and could lead to fewer counter-attacking opportunities, which is where it did most of its work.

Argentina’s offense is better than it showed and South Africa had likely the best game it has had in recent history. Expect Argentina to improve and South Africa likely to fade to its mean. Take ARGENTINA (+105).

Over/Under (O/U)

LEAN ALTERNATE UNDER 1.5 (+145).

Argentina had 1 shot on goal while South Africa had just 4 in each team’s opener. Neither team really showed much offensively, and against each other in a tournament in which the Under has been incredibly hot, backing fewer goals is the smart move here.

South Africa will have to build through its back and have fewer counterattacks in this battle which should showcase its lesser-than-ideal technical side.

With the Under hot in the tournament and both teams have struggled in their 1st matchday, take the UNDER 1.5 (+145).
