2023 Women’s World Cup: Australia vs. Denmark odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Monday’s Australia vs. Denmark odds and lines, with Women’s World Cup soccer expert picks, predictions and best bets.

In a Round of 16 matchup, Australia (2-0-1) and Denmark (2-0-1) meet Monday in the 2023 Women’s World Cup at Stadium Australia in Sydney. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 a.m. ET (FS1). Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Australia vs. Denmark odds, and make our best Women’s World Cup bets, picks and predictions.

Australia ended up winning Group B, just edging out surprising Nigeria, which beat the Matildas in group play. Australia ended up notching 7 goals in the 3 games, while conceding just 3. The Aussies routed Canada 4-0 last time out, putting an exclamation point on the group after a slow start.

Australia star striker Sam Kerr has been unable to feature in any of the 3 games to date, as she has dealt with a calf ailment. It’s uncertain if Kerr will be able to play vs. Denmark. She was an unused substitute against Canada last time out.

Denmark ended up in 2nd place in Group D, just getting by China 1-0, falling to table-topper England 1-0, and beating Haiti 2-0.

The Danes have never won a World Cup knockout game. These teams met in an international friendly last year, with Denmark opening with the 1st goal, while Australia rattled off 3 unanswered markers to win 3-1.

  • Moneyline: Australia -110 (bet $110 to win $100) | Denmark +300 (bet $100 to win $300) | Draw +230
  • Over/Under: 2.5 (O: +130 | U: -185)

Australia vs. Denmark picks and predictions

Prediction

Australia 1, Denmark 0

Moneyline (ML)

AUSTRALIA (-110) will have the home-pitch advantage in Sydney against a Denmark (+300) team, which is a big underdog, and a side that has never won a Round of 16 match.

The Aussies can win this one with or without Kerr, although the addition of the star striker would be huge against a Danish defense that has been extremely turgid during this tourney.

Over/Under (O/U)

UNDER 2.5 GOALS (-185) should come through, although that’s a pretty heavy price tag. The Matildas did see 4 or more goals in each of the previous 2 matches, notching 6 goals while conceding 3. However, Denmark’s defense will offer a lot more resistance, and the stakes are much higher, too, so the intensity will be ratcheted up tremendously.

If you’re a little less on the conservative side, and enjoy adventure, consider UNDER 1.5 REGULAR TIME GOALS (+165) at plus-money. If this game ends in a scoreless draw, or a 1:0 decision either way in regular time, you’d be a winner.

In addition, under the “both teams to score and total goals” prop section, I like NO AND UNDER 4.5 GOALS (-150).

2023 Women’s World Cup: Haiti vs. Denmark odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Tuesday’s Haiti vs. Denmark odds and lines, with Women’s World Cup soccer expert picks, predictions and best bets.

Haiti (0 wins, 2 losses, 0 draws) takes on Denmark (1-1-0) in each nation’s final 2023 Women’s World Cup group stage match. Kickoff from nib Stadium is set for 7 a.m. ET (FS1). Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Haiti vs. Denmark odds, and make our best Women’s World Cup bets, picks and predictions.

Haiti has been eliminated from the knockout stage but has actually outperformed expectations in the World Cup, losing both its Group D matches just 1-0. It lost to England on July 22, ending with 7 shots and 2 on frame despite just 25% of the game’s possession. And it lost 1-0 to China, but had just 1 fewer shot and 46% possession. Haiti is 53rd in the FIFA Women’s World Rankings.

Denmark, No. 13 in theFIFA women rankings, has its future in its hands. Both Denmark and China have 3 points with England already advancing. Both also have a 0-goal differential. Denmark beat China 1-0 last Saturday then lost 1-0 to England Friday. Against England, it had 2 fewer shots on goal and 29% possession. Denmark has been strong defensively, but it hasn’t had the offensive showing expected.

  • Over/Under: 2.5 (O: -135 | U: -105)

Haiti vs. Denmark picks and predictions

Prediction

Denmark 2, Haiti 0

Moneyline (ML)

PASS.

The books do not expect Haiti to get its 1st World Cup goal here.

The odds for both teams not to score is (-190). That is unplayable, as is Denmark to win with its back against the wall and needing a dominant win to solidify its spot in the knockout round. However, at (-300), there’s just no value in betting the favorite to win outright.

Haiti has shown little offensively and lost 2-1 in both of its 2023 matches against World Cup-caliber sides (South Korea and Nigeria). It isn’t worth a play as a heavy underdog.

Over/Under (O/U)

BET UNDER 2.5 (-105).

Every game in Group D has gone Under this total. Haiti has lost 1-0 twice and Denmark has won 1-0 and lost 1-0. Haiti is highly unlikely to score. It hasn’t faced a top-15 side outside of World Cup play in the last 12 months. It doesn’t have the technical ability to finish or even get to the final third consistently.

That would mean Denmark needs 3, but it has just 1 goal throughout 2 matches. Denmark has just 4 shots on goal through 2 games which is telling considering it had 56% of the possession against China. It should dominate the ball, but it has scored 3 goals in just 1 of its last 11 matches.

Haiti hasn’t been able to attack or score, but it has allowed just 2 goals through 2 games, both times taking on teams either better or at Denmark’s level. Considering it all, take the UNDER 2.5 (-105).

2023 Women’s World Cup: England vs. Denmark odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Friday’s England vs. Denmark odds and lines, with Women’s World Cup soccer expert picks, predictions and best bets.

In each nation’s 2nd Group D battle, England (1 win, 0 draws, 0 losses) takes on Denmark (1-0-0) on Friday with kickoff from Allianz Stadium set for 4:30 a.m. ET (FS1). Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the England vs. Denmark odds, and make our best Women’s World Cup bets, picks and predictions.

England used a 29th-minute penalty kick from M Georgia Stanway to beat Haiti 1-0 in its opener. It had 21 shots and 11 on target, which respectively was 14 and 9 more than Haiti. It also had possession for 75% of the match. England is 4th in the FIFA Women’s World Rankings and is among the favorites to win the World Cup.

Denmark also won its opener, 1-0 over China, so the winner of this match will automatically go through to the knockout stage. Denmark had 13 shots and 2 on target against China, although it didn’t quite dominate like England. China had 9 shots and 2 on target, possessing 44% of the match. In a strong group, Denmark sits 13th in the world ranking with wins this year over No. 3 Sweden and No. 12 Norway.

England vs. Denmark odds

  • Over/Under: 2.5 (O: +115 | U: -160)

England vs. Denmark picks and predictions

Prediction

England 1, Denmark 1

Moneyline (ML)

SPRINKLE DRAW (+310).

Denmark has been impressive during the calendar year and played China well. While it didn’t dominate China, both were top-15 sides, so it was a good competitive match. Denmark showed its depth. It has wins over Japan, Sweden, Uruguay and Norway this season, having only lost to top-6 sides.

England has drawn 3 of its last 5 matches, going 1-3-1 over that span, having lost 2-0 to Australia on April 11 and drawing both games in July before beating Haiti. These teams are closer on paper than the rankings suggest.

That said, back DRAW (+310) for a small unit.

Over/Under (O/U)

BET UNDER 2.5 (-160).

Denmark had 2 shots on target and held China to 2 shots on target. England’s 1 goal despite having 21 shots actually should be seen as an issue as well. Having 11 shots on target and 1 goal showcases lesser-than-expected finishing, which could mean it’ll struggle with fewer opportunities against Denmark.

Denmark has gone Under in in 4 straight matches and in 6 of 7 games this calendar year. England has gone Under in 5 straight matches and was held scoreless in 3 of those. England doesn’t have a single player on its team with 20+ international goals, and it has 3 players with 60+ caps on its defensive line.

The experience on the backline yet not in the final 3rd is cause for concern when it comes to its attack. Twelve of 18 games have gone Under 2.5 through Tuesday. Back UNDER 2.5 (-160).

2023 Women’s World Cup: Denmark vs. China odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s Denmark vs. China odds and lines, with Women’s World Cup soccer expert picks, predictions and best bets.

Denmark battles China in Group D action Saturday. Kickoff from Perth Rectangular Stadium in Australia is set for 8 a.m. ET (FOX). Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Denmark vs. China odds, and make our best Women’s World Cup bets, picks and predictions.

England and Haiti are the other 2 teams in Group D. England is the highest ranked team in the FIFA rankings at No. 4, while Denmark is 13th, China 14th and Haiti 53rd.

Denmark has won 4 of its 6 games in 2023, winning 2 of 3 in the Tournoi de France. It’s bringing one of the most experienced rosters with F Pernille Harder having 141 caps, MF Sanne Troelsgaard at 176 and D Katrine Veje at 145. Denmark qualified for this World Cup winning UEFA Group E.

China was the QF winner in the AFC Women’s Asian Cup to qualify. It has made it to 3 straight World Cups appearances. China is 2-3-3 (W-L-D) in 2023. It also features experience on its roster with 3 forwards having 100+ caps. Thirty-three-year-old captain F Wang Shanshan has 152 caps and 58 goals in her career.

Denmark vs. China odds

Provided by BetMGM Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated Friday at 9:37 p.m. ET.

  • Moneyline: Denmark -120 (bet $120 to win $100) | China +320 (bet $100 to win $320) | Draw +240
  • Over/Under: 2.5 (O: +115 | U: -160)

Denmark vs. China picks and predictions

Prediction

Denmark 1, China 1

Moneyline (ML)

SPRINKLE DRAW (+240).

China (+320) is the underdog here, but it has several quality performances so far in 2023. It drew Switzerland (ranked 20th in FIFA), Ireland (22nd) and Colombia (25th) this year. China’s 3 losses are to top-tier teams in Sweden (3rd), Spain (6th) and Brazil (8th).

China should be able to keep pace with Denmark (-120), which ranks more similarly to Japan and Switzerland than Sweden and Spain. China’s experience with 3 players in the midfield and defense with 100+ caps is also a factor that should help in its World Cup opener.

Denmark beat Sweden 1-0 but lost to Spain 2-0 in 2 of its last 3 matches. It should be a good battle against China, and with neither team having played in the last 2 years, the unfamiliar styles could lead to a stalemate.

For a small unit, BACK DRAW (+320).

Over/Under (O/U)

BET UNDER 2.5 (-160).

Denmark has a strong defense and has clean sheets in 2 of its last 3 games, matches — vs. Japan and Sweden. It has gone Under this total in 5 of 6 games in 2023 as well.

China has gone Under in 3 of its last 7 games, drawing both Ireland and Switzerland 0-0 earlier this year. Two of its 3 most experienced strikers are 32- and 33-years-old, so their pace may not be able to produce as many opportunities.

Considering how the first few games of this World Cup have been at a slower pace and resulted in fewer goals, UNDER 2.5 (-160) seems like the better play here despite the extra juice.

2022 World Cup: Australia vs. Denmark odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Wednesday’s Australia vs. Denmark odds and lines, with World Cup soccer expert picks, predictions and best bets.

Australia (1 win, 1 loss, 0 draws) battles Denmark (0-1-1) Wednesday in Group D with kickoff from Al Janoub Stadium set for 10 a.m. ET (FS1). Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook’s lines around the Australia vs. Denmark odds, and make our best World Cup bets, picks and predictions.

This will be the final group stage match for each side. Australia advances to the knockout stage with any points.

Denmark would advance if they beat Australia by more than Tunisia beats France, which assumes the group leader loses to the team currently in last place in the group. Nonetheless, France may rest most of their key pieces. In all reality, with a win, Denmark should be in.

Australia lost 4-1 to France to kick off the World Cup and then beat Tunisia 1-0. It didn’t necessarily dominate that game though as Tunisia had 5 more shots and 2 more on target with 59% possession.

Denmark, a side that has drastically disappointed, drew Tunisia despite having 4 more shots on target and 62% of the possession. Denmark lost to France 2-1 on Saturday. They sit 10th in FIFA’s world rankings with Australia 38th.

Prediction

Denmark 2, Australia 1

Moneyline (ML)

PASS.

Betting Denmark at (-190) doesn’t make much sense given how they have played, but in a similar fashion, Australia might have won but didn’t look dominant against Tunisia.

Having been clobbered by France as well, backing the underdog Aussies at (+550) isn’t suggested either. Play the total for value in this battle.

Over/Under (O/U)

BET OVER 2.5 (-110).

Denmark is 1-1 O/U this amount in 2 games, but in a 0-0 draw, they were still able to get 11 shots and 5 on frame. Denmark has had double-digit shots in both games.

Australia is also 1-1 O/U at this total, and they were dominated in possession by Tunisia, but still managed 9 shots. That type of play could be repeated, but if they allow Denmark 14 shots, chances are they concede a few goals.

Denmark has talent in their midfield with M Christian Eriksen and M Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, so possessing and getting into holes should be easy. Denmark has gone Over 2.5 in 6 of 10 games this calendar year.

2022 World Cup: France vs. Denmark odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s France vs. Denmark odds and lines, with World Cup soccer expert picks, predictions and best bets.

France (1 win, 0 losses, 0 draws) takes on Denmark (0-0-1) in a Group D group stage match on Saturday with kickoff at Stadium 974 set for 11 a.m. ET (FOX). Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook’s lines around the France vs. Denmark odds, and make our best World Cup bets, picks and predictions.

France put on an absolutely dominating performance over Australia in Tuesday’s 4-1 victory. France has an ultra-deep lineup and arguably the best player in the tournament in F Kylian Mbappe.

Other household names like F Ousmane Dembele and F Antoine Griezmann will likely take the field for France. We might see F Oliver Giroud break Frances’s all-time scoring record; he’s tied with Thierry Henry at 51 goals.

Denmark has top-tier talent like F Andreas Christiansen, M Christian Eriksen, and M Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg playing in the English Premier League and La Liga.

Denmark drew their first match with Tunisia 0-0 in which they allowed more shots (13) than they took (11). Nonetheless, this Denmark side is typically seen as a dark horse and should be difficult to defeat.

Prediction

France 2, Denmark 1

Moneyline (ML)

LEAN FRANCE (-130).

France just looked too good against Australia to bet against. With France being the 4th-ranked team in FIFA’s world rankings, this puts them in the driver’s seat with heavy odds.

However, the value for France makes sense and is playable. Considering Tunisia had more shots than Denmark, France should be able to get loose and make them pay.

Over/Under (O/U)

BET OVER 2.5 (+110).

Overall, Denmark does have a strong team (10th in FIFA rankings) and has the offensive weapons to put the ball in the back of the net. They were able to get double-digit shots on Tuesday, but just were not able to put any in the back of the net.

France has the talent up top to score 2 or 3 with ease and could have piled it onto Australia. Denmark went Over 2.5 in 5 of 8 games in 2022 prior to the World Cup.

Denmark vs. Croatia odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Friday’s Denmark vs. Croatia odds and lines, with Champions League picks and predictions.

Denmark (2 wins, 0 losses, 0 draws) welcomes Croatia (0-1-1) to Parken Stadium in Copenhagen, Denmark Friday. Kickoff for the 3rd of 6 group stage games is set for 2:45 p.m. ET. Below, we preview the Denmark vs. Croatia odds and lines, and make our best UEFA Nations League bets, picks and predictions.

Denmark has had a highly impressive stretch of play so far in the Nations League. They beat France 2-1 and Austria 2-1 as well. Their opponents respectively rank 3rd and 34th in the world per FIFA.

Denmark sits 11th and has already qualified for the 2022 Qatar World Cup. Andreas Cornelius, who has 39 caps for the senior team, is leading the side in scoring with 2 of their 4 goals.

As for Croatia, the opposite can be said as they’ve uncharacteristically struggled. Croatia lost 3-0 to Austria as star M Luka Modrić, who plays for the Champions League-winning Real Madrid, subbed on in the second half.

Croatia was already down 3-0 at that point. Modric started in a 1-1 draw with France, the more impressive outing for Croatia. The road side will enter as a heavy underdog but does sit 16th in the world ranking.

[tipico]

Prediction

Denmark 1, Croatia 1

Money line (ML)

LEAN DRAW +250.

Croatia didn’t play well against Austria, but they did put on a show against France, having as many shots on goal as the global’s 3rd-best side.

Modric makes that much of a difference. They drew France. Although Denmark defeated France, they had fewer shots on goal. Croatia advanced out of their group in the 2021 Euro 2020.

The Croatian midfield with Modric and Chelsea’s M Mateo Kovačić is no joke, and with Modric now rested after his club’s Champions League run, Croatia should be able to put up a fight.

Denmark has fewer players on top-tier European sides, and Leicester City D Jannik Vestergaard might be their most notable. He has helped to hold opponents to just 2 goals.

These teams have less splitting them apart than their spots on the table. I’ll take a DRAW +250 for a partial unit.

Over/Under (O/U)

BET UNDER 2.5 (-130).

Denmark’s defense has allowed just 2 goals with Austria having just 1 shot on target yet they managed to put that one in the back of the net. France had just 1 goal as well.

Croatia gave up 3 to Austria then had a 1-1 draw with France.

Both sides have a solid midfield that should be able to control the game. Each, especially Denmark, has shown an ability to contain their opponents as well.

Four of Croatia’s 5 2021 matches against top-36 opponents went under 2.5 goals.  While Denmark is a strong scoring side, they’ve had 16 shots through the 2 games.

The UNDER 2.5 (-130) is my favorite bet in this battle.

Euro 2020: England vs. Denmark odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Wednesday’s England vs. Denmark odds and lines, with UEFA EURO 2020 picks, tips, predictions and best bets.

In the second semifinal match of Euro 2020, home-side England takes on Denmark. The match is set for Wednesday at 3 p.m. ET at Wembley Stadium in London, England. Below, we preview the England vs. Denmark odds and lines and make our best Euro 2020 bets, picks and predictions.

England is coming off an easy victory over Ukraine in the quarterfinals. While it was challenged against Germany to kick off the knockout stage, England has looked comfortable and remains the favorite to win Euro 2020.

England has been absolutely dominant this tournament, winning four games and drawing one. It has yet to concede a goal and has scored 8, including 6 in the two knockout-round games. England is fourth in the FIFA World Rankings and takes on 10th-ranked Denmark in the semifinals.

After rallying from a loss to Finland in the tournament opener in which star MF Christian Eriksen collapsed on the pitch, Denmark is still on its surprising run. It scored 10 goals over the last three matches and has lost only to Belgium since that tough first Group Stage match.

England 3, Denmark 1

Money line (ML)

BET on ENGLAND (-145) as the home side has been dominant.

Being at home has a huge advantage, and Hungary proved it early on in the tournament. Managing draws against Germany and France, it played above its typical standard in front of a home crowd.

Now to finish the tournament, England will be at home, and I’m not betting against it. Winger Raheem Sterling and F Harry Kane looked terrific against Ukraine with Kane scoring in the 4th and 50th minutes.

While Denmark has been able to break through and score at a great pace, England has yet to give up a goal and scored six in the last two games.

Expect England to get the job done behind a strong crowd at Wembley Stadium.

Over/Under (O/U)

BET the OVER 2.5 (+120) as both sides have looked great in the final third.

Denmark will be the team to watch here. If it can force its way through Manchester United D Harry Maguire and then past Everton GK Jordan Pickford, it’ll have a chance.

Denmark has scored the second-most goals in the tournament with F Kasper Dolberg leading the way with 3 goals. If it can get one early and push the pace, this match could end with a high amount of goals.

It’s certainly a risk with how England’s defense has played, but I don’t think Denmark’s attacking success is a fluke. With both teams coming in hot on the offensive end, expect goals to rain in.

Euro 2020: Czech Republic vs. Denmark odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Saturday’s Czech Republic vs. Denmark odds and lines, with UEFA EURO 2020 picks, tips, predictions and best bets.

In our third of four quarterfinal matches in Euro 2020, Denmark will take on the Czech Republic Saturday. The match is set to kick off at noon ET and will take place at Baku Olympic Stadium in Baku, Azerbaijan. Below, we preview the Czech Republic vs. Denmark odds and lines and make our best Euro 2020 bets, picks and predictions.

Denmark is continuing its iconic run since Christian Eriksen collapsed on the field. Since that game, it has gone 2-1-0 and outscored the opposition 9-3, while allowing 2 of those 3 goals in the loss to Belgium. Denmark is coming off a 4-0 victory over Wales in the Round of 16.

Ranked 10th overall in the FIFA World Rankings, Denmark is favored against the 40th-ranked Czech Republic.

The Czech Republic is coming off a 2-0 victory over the Netherlands. The Czech scored both of its goals after the Netherlands took a red card early in the second half.

Prediction

Denmark 2, Czech Republic 1

Money line (ML)

BET on DENMARK (+110) because it has looked great in the tournament and is playing a lower-ranked opponent. Now, there is also an option to get Denmark to advance at -190, which I like, but not even close to as much as the 90-minute money line bet.

There is reason to believe in the Czech Republic, especially after it held the Netherlands to 0 shots on targets. It really hasn’t had a bad game yet in the tournament, but Denmark has looked great.

It’s more about how good Denmark has looked than how bad Czech has looked. Denmark wore down a Wales side that’s 17th in the world rankings.

Over/Under (O/U)

“Lean” to the OVER 2.5 (+140) as it’s a better value, and there’s no way I’d place money on a -190 total in a Euro tournament that has had multiple 6-goal games.

Denmark scored 4 goals in each of its last two games. Without Eriksen, its attack isn’t as lethal, but it has managed to break down the opposition quickly.

Euro 2020: Denmark vs. Wales odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Saturday’s Denmark vs. Wales odds and lines, with UEFA EURO 2020 picks, tips, predictions and best bets.

The Euro 2020 knockout round is officially upon us. To kick off the Round of 16, Denmark faces Wales Saturday at noon ET at Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Below, we preview the Denmark vs. Wales odds and lines and make our best Euro 2020 bets, picks and predictions.

Denmark and Wales are 10th and 17th, respectively, in the FIFA World Rankings.

Wales, led by aging F Gareth Bale, is coming off a 1-0 loss to Italy Sunday. It received a red card in the match, but that was after Italy scored its goal. Wales scored just 3 goals over its first three games but the defense has been terrific with just 2 goals allowed in the group stage.

Denmark sadly made the news when MF Christian Eriksen collapsed on the field in the nation’s first game of the tournament. After failing to score in that game, Denmark scored 5 goals in its next two matches. It destroyed Russia and held a lead against tourney-favorite Belgium.

Denmark vs. Wales: Odds, picks and predictions

Odds via BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated at 9:17 a.m. ET.

  • Money line (to advance to the Round of 8): Wales +170 (bet $100 to win $170) | Denmark -250 (bet $250 to win $100)
  • Over/Under: 1.5 (O -200 | U: +140)

Special UEFA EURO 2020 betting offer

Prediction

Denmark 1, Wales 0

Money line (ML)

PASS on the money line as Denmark (-250) is just too pricey. While I fully expect Denmark to win, it is not worth that price as both teams are relatively equally matched, especially without Eriksen on the pitch.

Now, to win in regulation, you can get DENMARK (-110) as a solid value. It’s the better side but only marginally.

In non-Belgium games, Denmark had 16 shots on target compared to its opponent’s 3. The Danes found the back of the net often against Russia, and showed their dominance.

While Wales has also played well, it hasn’t shown quite as much, winning in gritty, defensive matches. It was outshot by both Switzerland and Turkey and Bale has yet to score in the tournament.

DENMARK (-110) on the 90-minute line is the best money line play.

Over/Under (O/U)

BET the UNDER 1.5 (+140), as Wales defense is strong while its offense struggles.

At the same time, Denmark’s numbers are a bit inflated. It scored 5 in the group stage but 4 were against Russia, a team that also gave up a 3-goal game to Belgium.

Eriksen was Denmark’s best scoring and distributing option. Despite scoring 5 times, it didn’t have a single goal scorer with more than 2 tallies. F Yussuf Poulsen, who plays club at Leipzig, leads the team with 2 goals.

If Wales continues its trend of shutting down opponents, or at least making chances difficult to come by, I’d expect a low-scoring game. Both teams have some explosive nature but haven’t been able to fully harness it.

This plus-money bet is the best value in Denmark-Wales.
