Getting Quinn Ewers was hopefully just the first domino of top players coming to Austin. Here are five 2022 recruits Texas should push for.

Texas’ recruiting class for the 2022 class has started off on a fantastic foot, landing four-star wide receiver Phaizon Wilson and five-star quarterback Quinn Ewers.

Of course, Ewers is the big name that everyone in the country has taken notice of. Coaches, fellow 2022 recruits, and even a current Texas A&M player have expressed how big of a commitment Ewers is for the Texas program.

Now, Tom Herman and his recruiting staff must take the opportunity to push for another top-five recruiting class. Getting Ewers was hopefully just the first domino of many top players coming to Austin in the 2022 class.

Texas offers 2022 four-star running back from Las Vegas

UT has offered 2022 RB Javontae Barnes from Las Vegas. UT is the fourth Big 12 team to offer the young stud, following KSU, OU, and WVU.

Texas has offered 2022 running back Javontae Barnes from Las Vegas, Nevada. A four-star prospect, Barnes is in the top 10 at his position on the 247Sports composite. The Longhorns are the fourth Big 12 team to offer the young stud, following Kansas State, Oklahoma, and West Virginia.

Notre Dame Offers a top 2022 Cornerback

Keenan Nelson now has 15 offers with some big-time players as you’d expect including Georgia, Penn State, Miami, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Pitt and Michigan State among others.

Notre Dame continues to try and shape the 2022 recruiting class as they offered a scholarship to one of the nation’s top corner backs in the class Monday morning.

Keenan Nelson, Jr. of St. Joseph’s Prep School in Philadelphia was officially offered by the Irish and let the world know on Twitter.

Nelson is listed at 6-1, 200 pounds and as a four-star corner back.  247Sports ranks him as the 60th best player in the 2022 class and ninth best corner.

Nelson now has 15 offers with some big-time players as you’d expect including Georgia, Penn State, Miami, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Pitt and Michigan State among others.
