Rank ‘Em: Recent Notre Dame Alternate Uniforms

I liked the theme of this uniform even if the final look was far from amazing.  I found it hard to read the lettering and even though the helmet was a solid effort, you couldn’t tell it was anything unique other than a different color gold unless the camera was zoomed in.

Notre Dame’s trip to Indianapolis to take on a Big Ten West team in 2014 remains one more than Michigan has made in the Big Ten Championship era.  These uniforms I actually liked, at least besides the helmet.  The hard blue with gold letters and lining were what I thought a good look, but the helmet again fell completely flat.

At least Notre Dame held Purdue off after an intense first half, winning 30-14.

Grade: C+
