The end of this game will always leave any Notre Dame fan with a bad taste as they twice blew late leads, but the look was outstanding. It was the first time in forever you saw a logo of any kind on the side of the helmet and the shoulder pad stripes gave the perfect retro-feel and were excellent, but for some reason I was always bothered by the size of the retro Adidas logo that looked more like a patch from a bowl game.
And we’re all still in shock over how that thing ended.
