Rank ‘Em: Recent Notre Dame Alternate Uniforms

I liked the theme of this uniform even if the final look was far from amazing.  I found it hard to read the lettering and even though the helmet was a solid effort, you couldn’t tell it was anything unique other than a different color gold unless the camera was zoomed in.

Notre Dame’s first time playing at Cowboys Stadium against No. 22 Arizona State saw the Irish wear one of their best Shamrock Series looks, the white jersey and pants with bright gold helmet which again included the recycled shamrock.  Good but not great and a strange choice of font for the numerals in what was a solid premise but delivered with flaws.

Notre Dame upsetting the Sun Devils didn’t hurt any matters as Dan Fox sealed the deal with a late pick-six.
