Wide Receiver No. 1 – Devin Funchess
He may have been in the wrong position at Michigan at tight end, but Devin Funchess found a home as an NFL wide receiver.
Funchess was a favorite target of Cam Newton when the two were in Carolina together, posting a team-best 840 yards receiving in 2017. However, since that season, he’s been somewhat injury-plagued, appearing in just 14 games in 2018 and suffering a season-ending injury in his first game with the Colts in 2019.
However, he got scooped up by the Packers quickly this offseason, where he should return to form catching passes from Aaron Rodgers.
On our team, with Brady throwing him the ball, Funchess should certainly benefit similarly, giving our Michigan NFL team a big target to go after.
