If Michigan was fielding a starting team based on current NFL players, here’s what it would look like

Creating something of a fantasy football situation selecting from nearly 40 Wolverines who are currently on NFL rosters to form a team.

Defense

In the common era of Michigan football, it’s been known significantly more for the defensive side of the ball than the offensive side. Thus, expect a lot more high-level playmakers in our selections here.

Defensive End – Frank Clark

An absolute force in the NFL, Clark started his career in Seattle before signing with Kansas City this past year, where he became a Super Bowl champion. It was a game where he was quiet for most, but made the big play at the end to secure the victory for the Chiefs over the 49ers.

And he’s had some monster numbers in the league, with 173 tackles in five seasons, 47 for loss, 43 sacks, 11 forced fumbles and two interceptions.

He may have had a contentious end to his career in Ann Arbor, but based off production only, Clark would be a monster for this Wolverines NFL team.
