If Michigan was fielding a starting team based on current NFL players, here’s what it would look like

Creating something of a fantasy football situation selecting from nearly 40 Wolverines who are currently on NFL rosters to form a team.

Right Tackle –

Michael Schofield

Since being drafted in 2014, Michael Schofield has put together a really nice career.

He didn’t play his rookie season, but went on to play in 76 games, including 66 as the starter. He won a Super Bowl in Denver, where he was initially drafted, but he’s spent the last three seasons with the Chargers, playing either right tackle or right guard. In 2020, he’ll begin his first season with the Carolina Panthers.

We put him back at right tackle, because Schofield is versatile enough to play on either inside or outside.
