If Michigan was fielding a starting team based on current NFL players, here’s what it would look like

Though he was a first-team All-Big Ten player in 2012, Patrick Omameh was quietly great in Ann Arbor, and once again in the pros.

An undrafted free agent, the former two-star recruit has continued to prove everyone wrong, having started for the Wolverines for three-plus years and putting together a seven-year NFL career, where he’s started in 57 of his 81 game appearances.

He’s bounced around from place to place, however, having gotten his start with the 49ers practice squad before being picked up by Tampa Bay. He spent two years there before going to the Bears, Jaguars, Giants, Jaguars again, and finally New Orleans. Omameh re-signed with the Saints on May 14 of this year.
