If Michigan was fielding a starting team based on current NFL players, here’s what it would look like

Creating something of a fantasy football situation selecting from nearly 40 Wolverines who are currently on NFL rosters to form a team.

Cornerback – David Long

A lockdown corner in Ann Arbor, Long is still working his way up the depth chart in his native Los Angeles. Selected by the Rams with a third-round pick in 2019, Long only played in eight games in a reserve role last year, accumulating 9 tackles in the process.

He’s short on NFL experience, but given what we’ve seen him do at Michigan, and not a lot of options at corner in the pros at the moment, we’re taking his upside over everything.
