If Michigan was fielding a starting team based on current NFL players, here’s what it would look like

Creating something of a fantasy football situation selecting from nearly 40 Wolverines who are currently on NFL rosters to form a team.

Left Tackle – Taylor Lewan

Lewan is something of a contentious character coming out of Ann Arbor, but you can’t deny his talent and ability.

The former first round pick has spent the entirety of his career with the Tennessee Titans, where he’s been a three-time Pro Bowler at left tackle.

Lewan was suspended the first four games of the 2019 season by the league for violating the substance abuse policy — a contention he adamantly denied — but was very quickly reinstated in Nashville once he was eligible in October.

If there’s any former Wolverines offensive linemen currently in the league you want to start with, it’s Lewan.
