Outside Linebacker – Jake Ryan
As an interior linebacker, Ryan was really coming on in his NFL career before losing last season with injury.
He started with the Green Bay Packers, where he accumulated 27 starts in 43 games. Ryan managed 213 tackles, 15 tackles for loss and a sack with the Pack, but tore his ACL in the preseason in 2018 and left for Jacksonville in 2019. However, he suffered a hamstring injury and only saw two games for the Jaguars, with no stats recorded.
He signed this offseason with the Ravens, hoping to get back to form as he was in Ann Arbor and then Green Bay.
Ryan gives you the ability to be multiple in the sense that he can play outside linebacker or defensive end — similar, but different than Josh Uche, who was also under consideration for this role. If he can stay healthy, look out.
