2023 Xfinity 500 odds, picks and predictions

Looking at the odds for Sunday’s 2023 Xfinity 500 at Martinsville Speedway, with NASCAR expert picks and predictions.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The NASCAR Cup Series heads to the Martinsville Speedway for the 2023 Xfinity 500 Sunday afternoon. The green flag is set to drop shortly after 2 p.m. ET (NBC). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the 2023 Xfinity 500 odds, and make our expert NASCAR picks and predictions.

2023 Xfinity 500: What you need to know

  • Joe Gibbs Racing driver Martin Truex Jr. is on the pole for the 2nd consecutive week after turning in a best speed of 94.153 mph in qualifying
  • JGR’s Ty Gibbs is on the outside of Row 1 with his teammate after a best speed of 94.115 mph
  • Stewart-Haas Racing’s Chase Briscoe is the top Ford in the starting grid after qualifying 3rd with a best speed of 94.106 mph
  • Hendrick Motorsports driver Kyle Larson is the top Chevrolet in the starting grid, as he’ll go off from the 5th spot on Sunday
  • Team Penske’s Ryan Blaney leads all active drivers with a 9.5 Average-Finish Position (AFP) in 15 career Cup starts at Martinsville, leading 377 laps. He has finished 10th or higher in 9 of those 15 starts (60.0%)
  • JGR’s Denny Hamlin leads all active drivers with 5 career checkered flags at Martinsville, while ending up inside the Top 5 in 18 of his 35 career starts with a 10.3 AFP
  • TrackHouse Racing’s Chris Buescher is 43 points out of the 4th spot in the playoff standings, heading to Martinsville in need of a miracle. He has just 1 career top-10 finish in 16 Cup starts at the track, with a dismal 19.4 AFP
  • SHR’s Aric Almirola announced this week that he won’t be returning to the organization in 2024. He has a 19.7 AFP in 24 career Cup starts at Martinsville with 6 DNFs
  • 23XI Racing’s Tyler Reddick, on the bubble in the playoff standings, will go off 19th. He has a dismal 20.1 AFP in 7 career Cup starts at Martinsville

2023 Xfinity 500 – Expert pick

Odds provided by BetMGM Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated Saturday at 11:52 p.m. ET.

DENNY HAMLIN (+350) is a strong play at Martinsville. The Chesterfield, Va., native usually produces good results at his unofficial home tracks of Martinsville and Richmond.

The driver of the No. 11 machine is on the bubble with 1 race left to get into the Championship 4. He sits with 4,089 points, 17 points behind Blaney of Team Penske. Hamlin leads all active drivers with 5 career wins at Martinsville, and he knows what it takes to get the job done and get to Phoenix.

2023 Xfinity 500 – Long shot

BRAD KESELOWSKI (+1200) hasn’t had a whole lot of success since moving to RFK Racing. The results have been mixed lately, too. He was 28th at Homestead-Miami Speedway, but just 2 races removed from a top-5 showing at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, turning a 21st starting spot into a 4th-place finish. He has been coming on lately, rolling to top-10 finishes in 6 of the past 9 starts, too.

However, there is concern, as Keselowski ended up just 24th in the first race at Martinsville back in mid-April. Still, this could pay off big in the end.

2023 Xfinity 500 – Best props bet

MARTIN TRUEX JR. TOP-5 FINISH (+110) is a decent play at plus money for a top-5 run. MTJ starts off on the pole, and he is another driver in need of a strong finish to get into the Championship 4.

MTJ started from the pole last week, and hopes for better results than Homestead-Miami Speedway. He ended up a dismal 29th, putting him behind the 8-ball heading to the paper clip at Martinsville. He started 5th in mid-April in Martinsville, and ended up 3rd, though, and he has 3 career wins and 10 top-5 finishes in his 35 Cup starts at the Virginia short track.

2023 4EVER 400 presented by Mobil 1 odds, picks and predictions

Looking at the odds for Sunday’s 2023 4EVER 400 presented by Mobil 1 at Homestead-Miami Speedway, with NASCAR expert picks and predictions.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The NASCAR Cup Series heads to the Homestead-Miami Speedway for the 2023 4EVER 400 presented by Mobil 1 Sunday afternoon. The green flag is set to drop shortly after 2:30 p.m. ET (NBC). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the 2023 4EVER 400 presented by Mobil 1 odds, and make our expert NASCAR picks and predictions.

2023 4EVER 400 presented by Mobil 1: What you need to know

  • Joe Gibbs Racing driver Martin Truex Jr., currently 14 points behind standings leader Kyle Larson of Hendrick Motorsports, is on the pole for Sunday’s race
  • MTJ has managed a win, 7 top-5 finishes and 12 top-10 runs in 18 career Cup starts at HMS, posting a 9.7 Average-Finish Position (AFP)
  • Larson, who starts 5th Sunday, has a win, 5 top-5 runs and 529 laps led in 9 Cup starts in Homestead while posting a 10.7 AFP
  • JGR’s Denny Hamlin leads all active drivers with 3 career wins at Homestead-Miami, posting 12 top-10 finishes in 18 starts while posting a 9.8 AFP — 1 of just 4 active drivers with a sub-10.0 AFP
  • RFK Racing’s Chris Buescher, still alive for championship with 3 races to go, has struggled in his career at HMS. He has never finished better than 13th in 7 Cup starts with a dismal 19.7 AFP
  • Team Penske’s Ryan Blaney, just ahead of Buescher in the standings, has just a single top-10 finish in 8 Cup starts at HMS, while turning in an 18.6 AFP
  • Richard Childress Racing driver Kyle Busch, out of the championship hope, looks to play spoiler. He has 2 wins, 5 top-5 finishes and 11 top-10 runs with 465 laps led in 18 Cup starts at Homestead
  • 23XI Racing’s Bubba Wallace posted a qualifying speed of 167.115 mph — 0.313 seconds behind Truex Jr. — to start on the outside of Row 1
  • Toyota leads the field with 3 drivers in the top 3 spots, followed by the Ford of RFK’s Brad Keselowski, then 4 Chevrolets
  • Chevrolet has won the past 2 Homestead-Miami Speedway races, with Toyota winning the previous 2 races. The last time Ford went to Victory Lane was Nov. 18, 2018, when Joey Logano capped off a championship season

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3012″ ]

2023 4EVER 400 – Expert pick

Odds provided by BetMGM Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated at 12:01 a.m. ET.

DENNY HAMLIN (+900) has a golden opportunity to inch closer to a championship shot by winning at one of his best tracks. Hamlin leads all active drivers with 3 career checkered flags at Homestead-Miami Speedway. He sits 4th in the standings, with a precarious 2-point lead over Christopher Bell.

The biggest threat to Hamlin is Larson (+250), who is the overwhelming chalk. However, Hamlin is a better value, even more so than his teammate Truex Jr. (+500), who is on the pole.

Play our free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

2023 4EVER 400 – Long shot

JOEY LOGANO (+4000) is no longer alive for a championship, but I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw this number. Logano has won before at Homestead-Miami Speedway, locking down a championship in the 2018 installment of the race. He has a solid 15.0 AFP with 197 laps led, just 1 DNF and 4 finishes inside the top-5 in 14 career Cup starts.

2023 4EVER 400 – Best props bets

JOEY LOGANO TOP-10 FINISH (+230) for a chance to double up your initial wager seems like stealing candy from a baby. Sure, things haven’t gone according to plan for Logano, who has admittedly had a down season, but he has always been decent at this track, and he has been inside the top 5 in 3 of his past 8 races.

Another sure-fire play, although you’ll have to eat a little chalk, is DENNY HAMLIN TOP-10 FINISH (-170). That seems too good to be true. The fact you can get this under -200 is a steal.

I know Buescher doesn’t have the greatest averages at HMS, but CHRIS BUESCHER TOP-10 FINISH (+135) at plus-money is worth playing lightly. He is still in the championship hunt and will be throwing everything and the kitchen sink at the rest of the field trying to stay alive for a trophy.

2023 South Point 400 odds, picks and predictions

Looking at the odds for Sunday’s 2023 South Point 400 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway Road Course, with NASCAR expert picks and predictions.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The NASCAR Cup Series heads to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the 2023 South Point 400 Sunday afternoon. The green flag is set to drop shortly after 2:30 p.m. ET (NBC). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the 2023 South Point 400 odds, and make our expert NASCAR picks and predictions.

2023 South Point 400: What you need to know

  • Joe Gibbs Racing driver Christopher Bell claimed the Busch Light Pole for Sunday’s race with a best speed of 186.335 mph, edging out Hendrick Motorsports’ Kyle Larson (186.271 mph)
  • Hendrick Motorsports driver William Byron won the 1st Cup Series race at Las Vegas in March, and he has managed a 16.3 Average-Finish Position (AFP) in 11 career Cup starts at LVMS. Byron starts 3rd Sunday
  • JGR’s Martin Truex Jr. has a pair of Cup checkered flags at Las Vegas under his belt in 23 career starts, while posting a 10.0 AFP. He’ll go off 4th on Sunday
  • Team Penske’s Joey Logano has 3 wins at Las Vegas, while posting 7 top-5 runs and 12 top-10 finishes in his 20 Cup starts, while leading 536 laps and no DNFs. He starts in the 9th spot
  • Logano’s teammate, Ryan Blaney, is the best driver in the field without a Cup win at LVMS. He has a solid 12.4 AFP in 14 career Cup starts, while finishing inside the Top 10 on 8 occasions
  • Toyota’s last win at Vegas came on Sept. 26, 2021, when JGR’s Denny Hamlin raced to victory. It was his only win in 23 career Cup starts at the track, although he has a solid 12.8 AFP
  • 23XI Racing’s Bubba Wallace has 11 career starts at Las Vegas, posting a dismal 22.8 AFP with 2 DNFs
  • Stewart-Haas Racing’s Daniel Suarez has registered a poor 21.2 AFP in 12 career Cup starts at LVMS with 1 DNF
  • Last week’s winner on the ROVAL, Kaulig Racing’s A.J. Allmendinger, has a 20.6 AFP in 12 Cup tries at Vegas

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3012″ ]

2023 South Point 400 – Expert pick

Odds provided by BetMGM Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated Saturday at 10:40 p.m. ET.

DENNY HAMLIN (+800) is a nice value, as he looks to punch his ticket to the NASCAR Cup playoffs Final 4 drivers. He is the last driver of a Toyota to bring home checkers, and he has a tremendous 12.8 AFP in 23 career Cup starts with 6 top-5 runs and 11 top-10 finishes.

Hamlin always seems to bring his best effort in the playoffs, positioning himself for a chance in the championship race in the end. This is his golden opportunity to secure his spot, as he has fared well over the years at LVMS.

Play our free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

2023 South Point 400 – Long shot

RYAN BLANEY (+2000) isn’t your typical long, long shot, but these odds are substantially higher than the other contenders.

While the Team Penske driver has never won at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, there is no better time than right now. He is 8th in the playoff standings, and in need of making a move to keep his championship hopes alive. He has managed 5 top-5 runs and 8 top-10 finishes in his 14 career Cup starts at the track, turning in a 12.4 AFP, which is 6th-best among active drivers in the field.

2023 Bank of America ROVAL 400 odds, picks and predictions

Looking at the odds for Sunday’s 2023 Bank of America ROVAL 400 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Road Course, with NASCAR expert picks and predictions.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The NASCAR Cup Series heads to the Charlotte Motor Speedway Road Course for the 2023 Bank of America ROVAL 400 Sunday afternoon. The green flag is set to drop shortly after 2 p.m. ET (NBC). Let’s analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the 2023 Bank of America ROVAL 400 odds, and make our expert NASCAR picks and predictions.

2023 Bank of America ROVAL 400: What you need to know

  • Joe Gibbs Racing driver Christopher Bell gave Toyota its 1st win on the ROVAL last season after Ford won the inaugural race in 2018, followed by 3 straight Chevrolet checkered flags. Bell starts 2nd Sunday
  • Hendrick Motorsports driver Chase Elliott is the only 2-time winner in the 5-race history at the ROVAL, taking checkers in 2019 and 2020
  • 23XI Racing’s Tyler Reddick is on the pole for Sunday’s race, posting a best speed of 102.839 mph in qualifying
  • Daniel Suarez will start 3rd, the fastest Chevrolet in qualifying, after turning in a best speed of 102.603 mph
  • Suarez has had issues in the past at the ROVAL, finishing with a 25.8 Average-Finish Position (AFP) in 5 career starts
  • Penske Racing’s Joey Logano is the top Ford in the starting grid, going off 7th after a best speed of 102.203 mph
  • Hendrick’s Alex Bowman has never won at the ROVAL, but he leads all drivers with a 6.0 AFP with 2 top-5 runs and all 4 of his Cup starts at the track resulting in finishes of 10th or better
  • Penske’s Ryan Blaney won the inaugural race in 2018, and he has 4 top-5 finishes, 40 laps led and a 9.8 AFP in 5 career Cup starts on the Charlotte road course
  • TrackHouse Racing’s Ross Chastain has been disastrous in his 4 Cup starts at the ROVAL, posting a dismal 26.5 AFP
  • JTG Daugherty’s Ricky Stenhouse Jr. has a 22.2 AFP in 5 career Cup starts on the ROVAL, with a best finish of 17th and 1 DNF

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3012″ ]

2023 Bank of America ROVAL 400 – Expert pick

Odds provided by FanDuel Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated at 6:10 a.m. ET.

CHRISTOPHER BELL (+1000) is a strong value going off from the pole. He already has a victory at the ROVAL last season, and in 3 career starts, he has turned in an AFP of 11.0.

In the 5 Cup races at the ROVAL, we’ve already had 1 repeat winner (Elliott). In addition, starting position matters. While there has never been a winner from the pole, 4 of the 5 winners have come from a starting position of 10th or higher.

Play our free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

2023 Bank of America ROVAL 400 – Long shot

ALEX BOWMAN (+3800) hasn’t won on the ROVAL, but he has also never finished lower than 10th place in 4 career Cup starts on the setup.

Bowman hasn’t had a lot of success lately after a fairly decent start to the season. He was inside the top 10 on 6 occasions in 8 starts from late February through mid-March. However, he has been 12th or higher in 17 of his past 20 starts. He is still a good value based on his successful runs on the Charlotte road course, although more conservative bettors will probably want to play BOWMAN TOP-10 FINISH (whatever the odds are) for a more likely result.

2023 YellaWood 500 odds, picks and predictions

Looking at the odds for Sunday’s 2023 YellaWood 500 at Talladega Superspeedway, with NASCAR expert picks and predictions.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The NASCAR Cup Series heads back to Talladega Superspeedway for the 2023 YellaWood 500 Sunday afternoon. The green flag is set to drop shortly after 2 p.m. ET (NBC). Let’s analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the 2023 YellaWood 500 odds, and make our expert NASCAR picks and predictions.

2023 Yellawood 500: What you need to know

  • Hendrick Motorsports driver Chase Elliott leads all active drivers with a 14.1 Average-Finish Position (AFP) at Talladega (minimum 3 Cup starts)
  • Elliott has 2 wins, 5 top-5 finishes and 7 top-10 runs in 15 career Cup starts with 201 led, while posting 3 DNFs
  • Team Penske driver Ryan Blaney has 2 Cup wins at Talladega, while posting 5 top-5 results and 7 top-10 finishes with 275 laps led and 4 DNFs with a 15.2 AFP
  • RFK Racing’s Brad Keselowski leads all active drivers with 6 checkered flags at Talladega, with all of those victories coming in the No. 2 machine as a member of Team Penske
  • Penske’s Joey Logano has won checkers 3 times at Talladega, posting an 18.3 AFP with 9 top-5 finishes in 29 career Cup starts, while also posting 9 DNFs
  • Hendrick’s Kyle Larson needs a good showing to avoid elimination from the playoffs. He has a dismal 23.4 AFP in 17 career Cup starts at Talladega, with just 1 top-5 finish and 3 top-10 runs with 6 DNFs
  • The past 4 winners at Talladega have started 16th or lower in the grid, so don’t put too much stock into pole winners or starting starts
  • Only Ford and Chevrolet have won races on the superspeedways since the NextGen car was introduced

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3012″ ]

2023 Yellawood 500 – Expert pick

Odds provided by FanDuel Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated at 7:03 a.m. ET.

JOEY LOGANO (+1300) is a good value at this price. He has won 3 times at Talladega Superspeedway in the past, and he seems to have a knack of laying back in the weeds, playing it safe and letting the rest of the field knock itself out, while being an opportunist and moving up through the field at the right time.

Even playing LOGANO TOP-10 FINISH (-140) isn’t terribly expensive. He has finished in the top 10 on 11 different occasions in 29 career Cup starts, or 37.9% of his runs at the track.

Picking a winner at the superspeedway is like picking a needle out of a haystack. A non-playoff driver has won at Talladega just once since 2014, and that’s when 23XI Racing’s Bubba Wallace claimed checkers in 2021.

If there is a non-playoff driver, or eliminated playoff driver, to throw a monkey wrench into things, RICKY STENHOUSE JR. (+2500) is the guy. He won the Daytona 500 (in 2017) — the Olive Branch, Miss., native is a master on the superspeedways.

A STENHOUSE TOP-10 FINISH (+125) at plus-money is also a very good play. He has finished 10th or better in 9 of his 20 career Cup starts at what is essentially his home track, which equates to 45.0% of his starts.

Play our free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

2023 YellaWood 500 – Long shot

AUSTIN DILLON (+3500) is another one of those long-shot plays worth paying some mind.

The driver of the No. 3 machine is a good value. While he has never won in 20 career Cup starts, he has managed 2 top-5 runs and 5 top-10 finishes with a respectable 18.8 AFP, which is better than the likes of Kyle Busch (19.9 AF), Chris Buescher (19.9) and Martin Truex Jr. (21.4) to name a few.

2023 YellaWood 500 – Props

FORD (+110) is a decent play at plus-money to be the winning manufacturer, as Logano is my top pick to earn checkers at Talladega.

In addition, playing RYAN BLANEY (-144) in a head-to-head matchup over Richard Childress Racing’s Kyle Busch (+112). Blaney has 2 wins in 18 career Cup starts at the superspeedway, while posting a 15.2 AFP with 275 laps led. Busch has 2 wins at ‘Dega, but he also has 7 DNFs, with just 8 of his 36 career Cup starts resulting in top-5 finishes. Blaney is by far more consistent at this track in his career.

The NASCAR Cup Series heads back to Texas Motor Speedway for the 2023 Autotrader Echopark Automotive 400 Sunday afternoon. The green flag is set to drop shortly after 3:30 p.m. ET (USA Network). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the 2023 Autotrader Echopark Automotive 400 odds, and make our expert NASCAR picks and predictions.

2023 Autotrader Echopark Automotive 400: What you need to know

  • 23XI Racing’s Bubba Wallace is on the pole for Sunday’s race after posting a best speed of 188.337 mph in qualifying Saturday
  • Wallace has 8 Cup starts at Texas, and he has struggled mightily, posting a 23.6 Average-Finish Position (AFP) with 2 DNFs and just a single top-10 finish
  • RFK Racing’s Chris Buescher starts on the outside of Row 1. He has also had difficult at TMS, posting a 23.3 AFP in 13 career Cup starts, and his best finish is 15th place
  • Wallace’s teammate, Tyler Reddick, leads all drivers with a 6.8 AFP (minimum 4 Cup starts) with a win, 2 top-5 finishes and 4 top-10 runs, and he has never finished worse than 15th. Ironically, he goes off 15th Sunday
  • Stewart-Haas Racing’s Chase Briscoe, who starts 31st, has posted finishes of 5th and 15th in his 2 previous Cup starts, good for a 10.0 AFP after an average starting position of 28.0
  • SHR’s Kevin Harvick has managed 3 career checkered flags in Fort Worth in his 38 Cup starts, and he has 691 laps led with 14 top-5 finishes and 24 top-10 runs
  • Richard Childress Racing’s Kyle Busch has won 4 times in Texas, registering 14 top-5 finishes in his 32 career Cup starts (43.8% of his starts)
  • Joe Gibbs Racing driver Denny Hamlin has registered 3 career Cup victories at Texas with 15 of his 32 starts resulting in top-10 finishes
  • Hendrick’s Alex Bowman has had tremendous difficulties at Texas in his Cup career, posting a 24.8 AFP in 13 starts, posting just 2 top-5 finishes with 4 DNFs
  • TrackHouse Racing’s Ross Chastain has also not fared terribly well at Texas, posting a 25.2 AFP in 6 career starts, and his best-ever finish is 13th at the track

TYLER REDDICK (+1000) is a value pick at this price based on his career Cup numbers at the track. He starts from the 15th position, but Texas has plenty of opportunities for passing and scooting up in rather short order. He is also in the 8th and final spot in the playoff standings, 22 points back of leaders William Byron and Martin Truex Jr., so he’ll be pressing hard at one of his best tracks. It should be a good recipe for a strong finish.

2023 Autotrader Echopark Automotive 400 – Long shot

KEVIN HARVICK (+3500) has had tremendous success in his career at Texas, and this will be his final start in Fort Worth, at least as a full-time driver. We keep waiting for a storybook finish, with Harvick winning at his favorite tracks in his last go-around, but he has been 8th or lower in 8 straight starts, including a dismal 29th-place finish in his final Bristol start last weekend.

Playing a KEVIN HARVICK TOP-10 FINISH (+105) is also worth a look at plus money.

2023 Bass Pro Shops Night Race odds, picks and predictions

Looking at the odds for Saturday’s 2023 Bass Pro Shops Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway, with NASCAR expert picks and predictions.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The NASCAR Cup Series heads back to Bristol Motor Speedway for the 2023 Bass Pro Shops Night Race Saturday night. The green flag is set to drop shortly after 7:30 p.m. ET (USA Network). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the 2023 Bass Pro Shops Night Race odds, and make our expert NASCAR picks and predictions.

2023 Bass Pro Shops Night Race: What you need to know

  • RFK Racing driver Chris Buescher picked up the victory last fall in the Bristol night race, getting the win from the 20th starting position
  • Buescher’s starting spot of 20th was the lowest for a winner on the Bristol pavement since Kevin Harvick started 24th and won the night race Aug. 21, 2016
  • Harvick has won 3 times at Bristol, posting 14 top-5 finishes in 42 Cup starts (33.3% of his starts), while leading 1,209 laps with a 13.1 Average-Finish Position (AFP)
  • Richard Childress Racing driver Kyle Busch leads all active drivers with 8 checkered flags at Bristol, while posting 14 top-5 runs, 19 top-10 finishes and a circuit-best 2,592 laps led in “The Last Great Colosseum”
  • Hendrick Motorsports driver Chase Elliott has never won at Bristol, but he leads all active drivers with a 12.3 AFP with 4 top-5 finishes and 6 top-10 runs in 12 career Cup starts with 0 DNFs
  • Michael McDowell has had his issues at Bristol in his Cup career, posting a 28.8 AFP in 23 starts with 0 laps led and 8 DNFs
  • Aric Almirola has also struggled in his career at BMS, managing a dismal 24.0 AFP in 25 career Cup starts with just 39 laps led and 8 DNFs
  • TrackHouse Racing driver Ross Chastain is another driver who hasn’t fared well over the years in Thunder Valley, going for just 1 top-10 finish with 0 laps led and a 23.3 AFP in 6 career Cup starts
  • RFK Racing driver Brad Keselowski has managed 3 career wins with 6 top-5 finishes, 1,013 laps led and 0 DNFs in 24 Cup starts with a 16.7 AFP
  • Ford has won 3 of the past 4 Cup starts at Bristol Motor Speedway, while Chevrolet has managed to win just once in the past 9 starts. Ford and Toyota have 4 wins apiece in the same span

2023 Bass Pro Shops Night Race – Expert pick

Odds provided by BetMGM Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated at 1:44 p.m. ET.

KYLE BUSCH (+1600) just seems to be heads and tails better than any other driver on the pavement at Bristol Motor Speedway. He has 8 career Cup victories at the track, with the nearest active drivers (Harvick and Keselowski) with 3 wins each.

While Busch was a dismal 18th last fall in the night race, he is just too great of a value at this price.

Play our free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

2023 Bass Pro Shops Night Race – Long shot

CHASE BRISCOE (+10000) has 2 career Cup starts under his belt at Bristol. He has finished 13th and 14th in those outings, which is tremendous production based on this price to win. He is worth a roll of the dice as he is one of the best long shots to get checkers.

Even a CHASE BRISCOE TOP-10 FINISH (+340) — offered at FanDuel Sportsbook — for a chance to more than triple up is worth a shot. That’s a great value.

2023 Bass Pro Shops Night Race – Race props

TOP MANUFACTURER: CHEVROLET (+140) — from FanDuel Sportsbook — is a strong play at plus-money. Busch has won 8 times at Bristol, albeit in a Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing. However, it’s the driver that makes the difference, not the machine.

And it isn’t just Busch, but you get the Hendrick stable of drivers, too, including Elliott and his circuit-best AFP at Bristol as well as Kyle Larson.

KYLE BUSCH (-130) OVER RYAN BLANEY is a tremendous play in head-to-head matchups. Again, Busch has the 8 checkered flags, and a 13.7 AFP in 33 career Cup starts in Thunder Valley, and he has 2,592 laps led.

On the flip side, Blaney has never won at the track in 13 career Cup starts, while posting just 2 top-5 finishes and 493 laps led with 2 DNFs. This is a slam-dunk play, and I’d go rather aggressively on this prop.

2023 Hollywood Casino 400 odds, picks and predictions

Looking at the odds for Sunday’s 2023 Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway, with NASCAR expert picks and predictions.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The NASCAR Cup Series is at the Kansas Speedway Sunday for the 2023 Hollywood Casino 400 on Sunday afternoon. The green flag is set to drop shortly after 3 p.m. ET (USA Network). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the 2023 Hollywood Casino 400 odds, and make our expert NASCAR picks and predictions.

2023 Hollywood Casino 400: What you need to know

  • Joe Gibbs Racing driver Denny Hamlin won the AdventHealth 400 at Kansas Speedway back on May 7, holding off Hendrick Motorsports driver Kyle Larson for the checkers with a late bump
  • Hamlin also leads all active drivers with 4 career wins at Kansas, while posting a 12.9 Average-Finish Position (AFP) with 12 top-5 runs in 30 career Cup starts. He’ll go off 14th on Sunday
  • Stewart-Haas Racing driver Kevin Harvick leads all active drivers with a 9.9 AFP, winning 3 times with 12 top-5 runs in 35 career Cup starts. Harvick fires off from the 20th position
  • JGR’s Martin Truex Jr. has registered 2 wins with 10 top-5 finishes and 906 laps led in his 30 career Cup starts. MTJ starts 3rd on Sunday
  • JGR’s Christopher Bell posted a best speed of 180.276 mph in qualifying, the only driver to broach the 180 mph mark. He is on the pole after his best time of 29.954 seconds
  • Richard Childress Racing driver Kyle Busch crashed in practice, and he’ll start from the 35th position in the back of the pack on Sunday in a backup car
  • Michael McDowell has made 24 career Cup starts in Kansas, and he has a dismal 27.5 AFP with a best finish of just 13th. He also has registered 7 DNFs
  • 23XI Racing’s Bubba Wallace had his car chief ejected for the remainder of the weekend after the No. 23 Toyota failed pre-race inspection twice on Friday. The team also forfeited its pit-stall selection

2023 Hollywood Casino 400 – Expert pick(s)

Odds provided by BetMGM Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated at 12:21 a.m. ET.

DENNY HAMLIN (+650) is a good bet to sweep the season series at Kansas Speedway, and he has the 4th-longest odds to do so, making him a tremendous bargain.

No driver in the starting grid has won more Cup races at Kansas than the driver of the No. 11 machine. His starting position isn’t great at 14th, but it isn’t bad, either.

Hamlin went off 8th in the May race at Kansas, scooting up to 1st, so there isn’t much more difference. He started 25th last September in Kansas, and ended as the runner-up, while he started 18th last May, and ended up 4th. He knows how to pass and matriculate up through the field to position himself well in the end.

2023 Hollywood Casino 400 – Long shot(s)

AUSTIN DILLON (+10000) is a tremendous value at this price point. He starts 8th on Sunday. While he has never won a Cup race at Kansas, he has finished inside the top 10 on 6 of his 20 starts, or 30% of his runs at the track. He posted a best speed of 178.200 mph in qualifying, improving from his practice times Friday which were a bit uneven.

2023 Cook Out Southern 500 odds, picks and predictions

Looking at the odds for Sunday’s 2023 Cook Out Southern 500 from Darlington Raceway, with NASCAR expert picks and predictions.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The NASCAR Cup Series heads to Darlington Raceway for the 2023 Cook Out Raceway 500 Sunday night. The green flag is set to drop shortly after 6 p.m. ET (USA Network). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the 2023 Cook Out Southern 500 odds, and make our expert NASCAR picks and predictions.

2023 Cook Out Southern 500: What you need to know

  • Hendrick Motorsports driver William Byron picked up the victory in mid-May at the Goodyear 400 at Darlington Raceway. He will start 23rd Sunday
  • Joe Gibbs Racing driver Christopher Bell is on the pole after posting a best speed of 169.193 mph, edging out teammate Denny Hamlin at 169.042 mph
  • Hamlin leads all drivers with 4 Darlington victories and a 7.7 Average-Finish Position (AFP) with 801 laps led and 0 DNFs
  • Hendrick’s Kyle Larson has 11 career starts under his belt at Darlington. While he has never won at the track, he has a 10.2 AFP, which is 2nd among all active drivers
  • JGR’s Martin Truex Jr. leads all active drivers with 914 laps led at Darlington in his 22 career starts while picking up 2 wins and 10 top-10 finishes. MTJ will have to work his way up from a starting spot of 31st
  • Wood Brothers Racing’s Harrison Burton finished 6th at Darlington in May. He has a respectable 13.7 AFP in his 3 Cup starts at the track. Burton goes starts 32nd Sunday
  • Kaulig Racing’s Justin Haley produced a top-10 finish in May, and he has ended up inside the top 20 on 3 of his 5 Cup starts at Darlington, while managing a respectable 16.6 AFP
  • Stewart-Haas Racing driver Ryan Preece went for a highlight-reel crash and tumble last weekend at Daytona. He is healthy, and starts 34th Sunday

2023 Cook Out Southern 500 – Expert pick(s)

Odds provided by BetMGM Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated at 5:02 a.m. ET.

DENNY HAMLIN (+500) is always a safe play at Darlington. He has 4 victories in his 22 Cup starts, while 12 of his runs (54.5%) have resulted in a finish inside the top 5. Hamlin was a surprising 12th in the race in May, so he is due to bounce back, too.

If you’re looking for a contender with slightly longer odds, Team Penske driver JOEY LOGANO (+1600) is worth a look. He only has 1 checkered flag in his 19 Cup starts, but he has a respectable 13.3 AFP with 293 laps led and just 1 DNF with 10 top-10 finishes.

In addition, it would be a storybook finish if KEVIN HARVICK (+1600) was able to win in his final Darlington Cup start. He has 3 career victories at the “Track Too Tough to Tame,” and he has ended up 5th or better in 14 of his 31 starts at the track while posting a 12.4 AFP. He was a runner-up to Byron back in May and could easily challenge for checkers in his swan song.

2023 Cook Out Southern 500 – Long shot(s)

As far as long shots go, look no further than Legacy Motor Club driver ERIK JONES (+5000). He has managed a pair of victories in his 11 career Cup starts, while ending up inside the top 5 on 5 occasions. He has led 132 laps, while managing an impressive 12.0 AFP. He struggled with a 25th-place finish in May, and is looking for the rebound.
