RB Carlos Hyde
Carlos Hyde is a bit of a known commodity, but he’s 29 now so he’s not going to be the No. 1 free agent running back on most team’s minds. There’s plenty of tread already on his tires.
Still, Hyde was actually good as recent as last season for the Texans, surpassing 1,000 rushing yards (1,070). Hyde averaged 4.4 yards per carry and notched six touchdowns. Hyde also would come to the Bills to pair up with Devin Singletary in the backfield and he tough running style could be a perfect complement, much like the one-two punch Hyde was last season for the Texans with Duke Johnson.
But Hyde will probably hope for a situation where, if it’s the one-two type of punch, him being the one, not the two. He’ll have to see how his market develops before chatting with a team like the Bills who have a product in their backfield already that they like.
