12 under-the-radar free agents for the Bills to target on offense

The NFL’s free agency period is slated to open on March 18 and the Buffalo Bills could be in business. The Bills signed cornerback Josh Norman last week, getting a head start on things.

The Bills have a void to replace with Frank Gore unlikely to return to the team. Devin Singletary is still there, but Buffalo head coach Sean McDermott said earlier this offseason he’s a fan of a 1-2 running back punch.

In regards to who could be a low risk, high reward type of guy, CJ Prosise is a name to consider. As a rookie, he averaged 5.7 yards per carry, but then has been derailed by injuries since then. Something close to the league-minimum is likely in his future.

Prosise has solid size at 6-foot-1, 225 pounds, and he’s not aging yet at only 25. He has also flashed as a pass-catching back in his career, hauling in 36 career catches for 393 yards. Another name to also consider is TJ Yeldon. He’ll be back with the Bills and has skill as a pass catcher, but he didn’t play much last season in Buffalo.
