Top high schoolers who may reclassify, eventually enter 2021 NBA Draft

Many believe the NBA Draft will feature a stronger prospect pool in 2021 than what the 2020 class will offer. But it may get even deeper.

Guard, 5-foot-10, Marshall County (Kentucky)

Background: Point guard Zion Harmon led all participants in total assists (16) during the U16 Americas Championships in 2016. During that tournament, he also was Team USA’s leading scorer (14.0 PPG) on a roster that won gold and also included projected lottery picks in 2020 like James Wiseman, RJ Hampton and Vernon Carey. Harmon later averaged 16.6 points and 6.6 assists per game during Peach Jam in 2019. According to MaxPreps, his scoring (24.7 points per game) and distributing (5.4 assists per game) both rank third-best among all high school players in Kentucky.

NCAA: He has narrowed his decision down to six schools (Seton Hall, Maryland, Murray State, Western Kentucky, Kansas and Louisville) and has not fully ruled out reclassifying to play in the NCAA next year, though he told StockRisers.com that it is just a low probability. He added that he plans to make a final decision in March 2020.
