Top high schoolers who may reclassify, eventually enter 2021 NBA Draft

Many believe the NBA Draft will feature a stronger prospect pool in 2021 than what the 2020 class will offer. But it may get even deeper.

FRANCK KEPNANG

Big, 6-foot-10, Westtown (Pennsylvania)

Background: The 6-foot-10 big man has been impressive as a defensive prospect, recording a dominant 2.8 blocks per game during the Peach Jam tournament in 2019. Meanwhile, per MaxPreps, his high school team ranks No. 12 in Pennsylvania thanks in part to his impressive play thus far.

NCAA: Last month, he received an offer from Ohio State and also visited with Kentucky head coach John Calipari. According to Ben Roberts of the Herald Ledger, Kepnang could still reclassify into the Class of 2020. While he has not yet made an official decision, he will be nineteen years old when the fall semester starts in October which could make the transition a bit more feasible.
