Top high schoolers who may reclassify, eventually enter 2021 NBA Draft

Many believe the NBA Draft will feature a stronger prospect pool in 2021 than what the 2020 class will offer. But it may get even deeper.

Background: Big man Moussa Cisse played alongside Terence Clarke for Expressions Elite on the AAU Nike EYBL circuit last year. Clarke, who has already reclassified so he can become an NCAA freshman next season, led the team in scoring. Cisse was certainly impressive, too, averaging 11.4 points and 11.0 rebounds with 3.9 blocks per game. They tied for the best record among all teams in their division. His best performance was against Team Boo Williams during Peach Jam, scoring 25 points with 16 rebounds and 5 blocks in July 2019. These days, per MaxPreps, his high school team currently ranks No. 11 among all teams in Tennessee.

NCAA: The frontcourt prospect has already taken multiple unofficial visits to the University of Memphis. The Memphis Tigers have been considered the favorites to land Cisse. Earlier month, however, he was visited by eleven-time All-Star and Georgetown head coach Patrick Ewing. He has also been linked to the University of Kentucky. As for reclassification, Cisse has said he is “not rushing” while his high school coach has simply called any of the talk “speculation” and has said he has not been made aware of this.
