No. 4 – Raleigh Texada, Baylor
Going into the 2020 season, Raleigh Texada is expected to be Baylor’s top corner. His role has grown over his four years in Waco, become an important piece of the Bears’ defense. Now, with Dave Aranda taking over as the head coach, Texada will take a step up.
Baylor had the third-best pass defense in the Big 12 last season, only allowing 217 in the air per game. Texada had five pass breakups in 2019, tied for second on the Baylor team. If the Bears want to repeat their success this season, the pass defense will be an intricate piece to the puzzle.
