No. 5 – Tre Brown, Oklahoma
Over the past few years, when thinking of Oklahoma, their defense is not the first thought that comes to mind. Tre Brown has been the exception to this as he has been a key to the rebuild of the Sooners’ defense. As painful as it is to compliment Oklahoma, Brown has been solid for Alex Grinch.
The senior has played in 41 games over three years, starting in 21 of them. In the past two years, Brown has 22 pass breakups, leading the Sooners in that category. With Oklahoma trying to make the College Football Playoff for the fourth straight year, Brown will become a leader of the defense in 2020.
