The top 10 in-state recruits and where Texas stands with them

Tom Herman and UT have made in-state recruiting a priority. Here are the top 10 in-state recruits and where Texas stands with each of them:

No. 8 – Bryce Foster

Hometown: Katy

Position: Guard

Commitment: None

Analysis: After signing two interior offensive linemen in the 2020 recruiting class, Texas has not made a big effort going after the top guards in the state. According to 247Sports’ Foster is down to the Longhorns’ two biggest rivals, Texas A&M and Oklahoma. With the Sooners being favorites at the moment, Texas could face Foster in Dallas on a yearly basis.
