Analysis: Texas was the second team to offer Earle back in November 2018 but has lost another recruiting battle to the SEC. Big-time programs such as Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Ohio State were making offers. Eventually, Coach Ed Orgeron and the LSU Tigers won. The Longhorns have struggled to recruit in-state blue-chip receivers and missed another one in Earle.
