Texas players react to cancellations amid Coronavirus outbreak

Several players expressed their feelings on social media regarding the Coronavirus and its impact on Texas athletics.

It feels as if the entire world is amid an unknown, fluid situation that creates a variety of emotions.

With the public health and safety being a top priority, several tournaments and seasons were suddenly halted at both the professional and collegiate levels in an attempt to decrease the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Although college basketball was merely days or weeks away from concluding, many other sports such as baseball and softball were seemingly just beginning.

While it’s unclear if or when Texas athletics will be able to compete again this academic year, the threat of a cancelled season has been a tough pill to swallow for seniors and athletes all over campus.

Current Longhorns took to social media to express their feelings over the sudden, heartbreaking news.
