Sports being canceled does not take away from the great moments already in 2020. Here are the top 10 moments of 2020 for the Longhorns:

2020 has been full of surprises on and off the field for Texas athletics and there were some special moments. Wrapping up basketball and moving into spring sports before the COVID-19 pandemic canceled the season, most of the Longhorns’ major sports seemed to be heading in the right direction.

From the men and women’s basketball teams looking NCAA Tournament bound, to Tom Herman and the football team making moves, to the top-ranked softball team picking up big times wins, Texas was excelling in all sports.

Sadly, the NCAA has canceled all sporting activities for the rest of the school year, but that does not take away from the great moments so far this year. Here are the top 10 moments of 2020 for the Longhorns:

Though it’s just about guaranteed Georgia does not wind up in the Top 4 tomorrow, the Bulldogs were able to hang onto a Top 5 spot in Klatt’s rankings.

What does this mean? Well, Alabama is ranked No. 7 behind the Dawgs, which would have Georgia NOLA bound in this scenario.
