5-star DT Bear Alexander names top two schools

5-star DT Bear Alexander names top two schools: UGA and Texas A&M

The Georgia Bulldogs lost a commitment from five-star defensive tackle Bear Alexander several months ago. Now, the talented defensive tackle has named his top two of Georgia and Texas A&M.

Alexander is a senior at Ryan High School in Denton, Texas. Last season, Ryan High School went 15-0 and won a Texas state title in dominant fashion.

Alexander is a member of the class of 2022 and has offers from major college football programs, including Miami, UNC, Michigan, USC, Auburn and Oregon.

The five-star defensive tackle is reconsidered his recruitment after he visited Georgia and Texas A&M. Alexander visited Miami, but they did not make his top two.

Alexander ranks 30th in his class and sixth among defensive linemen. The 6-foot-3, 325-pound lineman is a top recruiting target for Georgia and Texas A&M.

Kirby Smart and Jimbo Fisher are in a few recruiting battles at the moment. Fisher won a commitment from former UGA commit Deyon Bouie and is trying to land one from Alexander.

Four-star athlete Deyon Bouie has committed to the Texas A&M Aggies football program. Bouie was previously committed to Georgia.

Bouie ranks as the nation’s No. 50 player and the No. 2 athlete in the class of 2022. The Bainbridge, Georgia, native visited Texas A&M over the summer and has made his decision. Bouie plays for Bainbridge High School.

Kirby Smart and Jimbo Fisher are locked in a few key recruiting battles. Smart and Georgia lost commitments from Bear Alexander and Bouie this summer. Now, Texas A&M and Fisher are Georgia’s biggest competition for the duo.

Georgia will not give up in Bouie’s recruitment, but losing him to a conference foe hurts. Bouie is a top in-state prospect and Kirby Smart hates missing on top players in Georgia.

Georgia is competing with Texas A&M to consistently be the SEC’s top team behind Alabama. The Aggies have the seventh-ranked recruiting class in the country. Georgia has the fifth-ranked class of 2022.

Amari Daniels, a class of 2021 running back, is planning on committing to either the University of Georgia or Texas A&M.

The Georgia Bulldogs are looking to add a talented running back to their class of 2021. Will three-star running back Amari Daniels be the next great University of Georgia running back?

Daniels is five-foot-eight and weighs in at 194 pounds. Though he’s shorter, that’s often beneficial to running backs, who become harder to find behind the line of scrimmage. Daniels is from Miami, Florida and plays high school football at Miami Central High School. Daniels is a versatile back.

A long line of incredible running backs have played at Miami Central including: Willis McGahee, Devonta Freeman, and Dalvin Cook. Daniels will have a chance to be the next great one out of Miami Central.

Where will Daniels go? He recently released his top two schools and is planning to make a commitment soon:

The trend of Florida schools struggling to land their elite in-state talent looks to be continuing.

Daniels has Texas A&M, and Georgia in his top two schools. We’ll keep you updated on his recruitment. Daniels removed Penn State and Nebraska from his previous top school.
