Steph Curry says he will play “somewhere between 24 and 28 minutes” in return from injury against the Raptors.

The Golden State Warriors have taken every precaution when it comes to Stephen Curry’s broken left-hand injury. The two-time Most Valuable Player has gone through multiple re-evaluations, tedious workouts and everything in between.

With Curry finally cleared to return against the Toronto Raptors, the Warriors will proceed with caution in his first game back.

Curry spoke to reporters at Golden State’s shootaround about how much playing time he will get after missing the past 58 games.

Somewhere between 24 and 28 minutes. I don’t know exactly, we haven’t really finalized exactly how that’s going to look, nor should we tell anybody. It’s just a matter of staying in that lane where I can go full speed, highest intensity and not burn out, and get through a whole game. I’m not worried about it at all. I think I can play a lot more than that just based on all the work that I’ve put in. But, you got to be smart about it in that sense. You also have to feel the game. Obviously, I want to be out there when it matters. Finishing quarters, finishing the game and being available in that respect. That’s the goal to manage the minutes but also not mess with the game where I’m not all the way engaged and able to make an impact with longer stretches consecutively out there on the floor.

Before being cleared to return against the Toronto Raptors, Curry spent time in Santa Cruz with the Warriors’ G League Affiliate. The six-time All-Star scrimmaged with the G League group to build his conditioning before returning to NBA action.

With Golden State’s playoff hopes spoiled, there is no need for the Warriors to rush Curry back from injury. Over the remaining 20 games of the regular season, the Golden State point-guard will slowly ramp up his game minutes as he finds a rhythm with his surgically repaired hand.

After missing four months due to injury, Stephen Curry is clear to make his long-awaited return to the court.

It has been a long process for Stephen Curry to make his return to the basketball court. The injured point guard has missed 58 games for the Golden State Warriors since breaking his left hand against the Phoenix Suns in only the fourth contest of the new season.

After going through a lengthy rehab, Curry is finally clear to make his much-anticipated return to the floor on Thursday night. The two-time Most Valuable Player will suit up against the Toronto Raptors at Chase Center in San Francisco.

Curry spoke to reporters at Golden State’s morning shootaround about his return to the court for the first time in four months.

I’m excited. Coming into this year, I was excited to compete and see what the season held in terms of our transition as an organization. Obviously, that was taken away pretty quickly. Four months to just get ready for a day like today, where a lot of hard work has gone into the rehab. So many people helped me get to this point, where I’m confident in getting back out on the floor and getting back to what I love to do. Joining my guys who have been through a lot this season — trying to finish this season on a strong note. It feels like the first day of school pretty much all over again, which is exciting. I feel pretty comfortable, pretty confident in where I’m at physically. Just excited to get back out there.

All eyes will be on Curry against the defending NBA champion Raptors on Thursday night. Following Toronto, the six-time All-Star will have 19 games remaining in the 2019-20 season to work back from injury.

Steph Curry reacts on social media after being cleared to return from injury

Stephen Curry went to social media after being cleared to return to the Warriors after missing 58 games due to injury.

After missing 58 games with the Golden State Warriors, Stephen Curry is scheduled to make his long-awaited return to the court. The Warriors cleared Curry to play against the Toronto Raptors on Thursday night.

The two-time Most Valuable Player has gone through a long four-month rehab that recently led him to Santa Cruz.

Curry worked out with the Warriors G League affiliate in Santa Cruz for a day of practice. The six-time All-Star went through a five-on-five scrimmage against the Santa Cruz Warriors to ramp up his conditioning before returning to NBA action.

The Davidson product has been traveling with the Warriors on the road and going through a pregame shooting routine before his teammates take the floor.

Curry crossed off the final step in his recovery when Golden State officially cleared him to return when the defending champion Toronto Raptors come to Chase Center in San Francisco.

The three-time champion went to social media to celebrate his return to the court with an “about time” custom video.

Curry will have 20 games left remaining on the schedule to build chemistry with his new teammates and find a rhythm with his surgically repaired hand.

Steph Curry to make official return from injury on Thursday vs. Raptors

It’s official, Stephen Curry is back.

It’s official — he’s back. After being out of the Golden State Warriors lineup for the past 58 games, Stephen Curry will make his long-awaited return to the floor against the defending champion Toronto Raptors on Thursday night.

Curry was injured when Aron Baynes of the Phoenix Suns fell on the two-time Most Valuable Player, breaking his hand on October 30, 2019, at Chase Center.

Curry has since gone through a long rehab with the last step coming on Tuesday in Santa Cruz. The six-time All-Star was assigned to Golden State’s G League affiliate in Santa Cruz. Curry practiced with the G League squad in a full-contact five-on-five scrimmage to simulate live game action and ramp up his conditioning.

After passing his final test, Curry was cleared by the Warriors to return against the Toronto Raptors in a nationally televised game on Thursday night.

In the four games before his injury, Curry was averaging 20.3 points, 6.5 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game. During that span, the three-time NBA champion was shooting 40.9 % from the field and 24.3 % from beyond the arc.

Curry’s addition to the lineup will come as the Raptors make their first trip to the Bay Area since winning the NBA Championship at Oracle Arena last season.

Mychal Mulder is ‘excited’ for the chance to play with Steph Curry

Mychal Mulder believes a healthy Steph Curry can make him better on and off the court.

During the final stretch of the Golden State Warriors 2019-20 season, Stephen Curry’s return from injury remains the most important date on the calendar. Curry has only played in four games this season since suffering a broken hand in late October, but his return is expected in March.

Warriors’ fans aren’t the only ones counting down the days till Curry is back on the court. Members of Golden State are also awaiting the return of the two-time Most Valuable Player.

Golden State recently signed Mychal Mulder from the G League’s Sioux Falls Skyforce to a 10-day contract with the club. The newest Warrior is excited for the opportunity to potentially play alongside Curry.

Wishing him the best of health and a speedy recovery right now. To have him back during my time here would be huge for me. Obviously, he would make me better on and off the court. Mulder is averaging 11 points on 42.9 % shooting while grabbing 4.0 rebounds in three games with Golden State. The 6-foot-3 guard has scored in double-figures in the Warriors’ past two contests while eclipsing 30-minutes in each game.

The Kentucky product has three games remaining on his 10-day deal with the Warriors. If Mulder wants the opportunity to play with Curry, he’ll have to build off his impressive play to solidify his spot with Golden State beyond 10 days.

The Golden State Warriors are being cautious with Stephen Curry’s injured hand. The two-time Most Valuable Player has only played in four games all season due to a broken left hand he suffered in late October. The Warriors have postponed Curry’s long-awaited return target of March 1 to a later date.

One of the looming questions around Curry’s injury has revolved around the nerve damage in his hand. The six-time All-Star spoke to reporters recently about finding a “new normal” when it comes to the adjustments he’s made from nerve damage in his hand.

Steve Kerr spoke to reporters about Curry’s recovery before the Warriors tipped off against the Phoenix Suns. Golden State’s coach Steve Kerr provided a positive update on the nerve damage in Curry’s hand.

Zero concern in terms of re-injuring anything. It’s just a feel thing for Steph. It’s nerve damage, that term sounds terrible, but I think all it really refers too is that area just feels kind of numb to him. With Curry already being ruled out for Golden State’s next two games on the schedule against the Wizards and Denver Nuggets, his updated return date could be as soon as March 5 when the Toronto Raptors come to San Francisco. The extra time will give Curry more opportunities to scrimmage with the Warriors while adjusting to his nerve damage.

Before the Warriors tipped off against the Sacramento Kings, Stephen Curry knocked down some long-distance jumpers from the Golden State logo at Chase Center.

Stephen Curry has yet to return to Golden State Warriors game action, but he’s close. Curry is still dealing with the broken left-hand injury he suffered in late October. However, the Warriors point guard could return as soon as this weekend.

Leading up to Curry’s return to the court, the six-time NBA All-Star has climbed up several vital steps in his rehab. Curry has traveled with the Warriors on the road, participated in shooting workouts with the coaching staff, and most recently, he’s joined full-contact scrimmages at practice.

As Curry’s ramped up his rehab, the Golden State guard displayed one of his signature pregame shooting routines before the Warriors hosted the Sacramento Kings.

Curry knocked down a couple of long-distance shots from just inside the Chase Center midcourt logo. The Davidson product finished his pregame shooting workout with twirling corner 3-pointer from the baseline that was nothing but net.

Before bringing his electric shooting back to the court, Curry and his injured left-hand are scheduled to go through a re-evaluation.

If his evaluation goes smooth, Curry could return to the Golden State lineup on Sunday, March 1, against the Washington Wizards.

From the minute Stephen Curry was injured in late October against the Phoenix Suns, his looming return became one of the most anticipated dates on Golden State’s schedule.

Late in the stretch run of the regular season, the answer to his return date might be finally revealed.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Curry is slated to return to the Warriors lineup on Sunday, March 1, against the Washington Wizards.

As Curry’s made progress through his rehab, March 1 has turned into the long-time target date for his return. March 1 will serve as the final box on Curry’s checklist in returning to the floor.

In one of the final steps in getting back to the court for game action, Curry was cleared for full contact scrimmages at Golden State’s practice. The six-time All-Star has been going through shooting workouts with the Golden State coaching staff before games.

Steve Kerr spoke to reporters before the Warriors tipped off against the Sacramento Kings and spoke about Curry’s potential return. Kerr said Curry and his broken left hand will be re-evaluated on Saturday.

Stephen Curry has checked off many boxes when it comes to his broken left-hand rehab. The former Most Valuable Player has only played in four games all season. Yet as his rehab progresses to the final stages, his return is near.

Curry’s been traveling with his teammates on the road and participating in pregame warmups with the Warriors coaching staff. At practice, Curry has been shooting without any type of brace and has been taking part in full-contact scrimmages.

Sunday, March 1 has been the long-discussed target date for Curry’s return, but before he is officially cleared, the six-time All-Star will have one final test.

Members of the Golden State Warriors, including Stephen Curry and Draymond Green, have used social media to share their feelings on Bryant’s loss.

In their first home game since his passing, the Warriors paid respect to the fallen Lakers legend. During the game, Curry wore a Bryant jersey on the sideline.

The Staples Center will host a memorial service for Bryant and his daughter Gianna on Monday in Los Angeles.

The Warriors will travel to Bryant’s home arena as a full team on April 7 in their final game against the Los Angeles Lakers for the 2019-20 season.
