Dabo Swinney and the Clemson coaching staff did a phenomenal job with their 2023 recruiting class and look to strike the same magic they did in 2023 with their 2024 class. 

The 2024 class looks great on paper, and it looks like the class wrapped things up yesterday. The Tigers added two preferred walk-ons in wide receivers Parker Fulghum and Clark Sanderson, adding depth at wide receiver behind the two studs they have already in this class. 

With these additions, we have a clean, full look at what Clemson’s 2024 recruiting class looks like as the program prepares for the 2024 season. Below is a look at each recruit in the Tigers’ 2024 class and where they are ranked in the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

A look at Clemson freshmen midyear enrollees’ new jersey numbers

All Clemson freshmen mid-year enrollees have their numbers.

Dabo Swinney and the Clemson coaching staff have recently rounded out their 2024 recruiting class, with many of that class already on campus and working with the team.

The addition of the new Tigers means new numbers. Each early enrollee has received a number and is now updated on the Tigers roster. According to 247Sports 2024 team recruiting rankings, the Tigers have the No.12 overall class, with their personal rankings having them ranked No.16 overall.

This class looks to be another strong one for the Tigers, with multiple top players across the country joining the program. Below is a look at all early enrollee’s new numbers in number order.

Here is a look at all 17 current Clemson commits in the 2024 class grouped by their positions.

Dabo Swinney and the Clemson football program have been among the top teams recruiting in the 2024 class as the Tigers look to remain one of the elite programs in college football.

Headlined by two five-star recruits in linebacker Sammy Brown and wide receiver Bryant Wesco, the Tigers have future stars ready to make an impact for the Tigers in this class. The most recent commitment in the class came from four-star cornerback Corian Gipson, who committed to the Tigers Saturday, choosing Clemson over top competitor Texas.

Wisconsin and Tennessee were in O’Connell’s top three

Wisconsin and its fans enjoyed the July 4 holiday with the program landing Minnesota’s top-ranked player in the class of 2024.

That was not the only piece of recruiting news from the day, however. The Badgers had been in the top three for 2024 three-star offensive lineman Ronan O’Connell.

O’Connell announced yesterday afternoon he would be committing to Clemson.

The Franklin, Tennessee native is the No. 595 player in the class of 2024, the No. 43 offensive tackle and the No. 17 recruit from his home state. Clemson edged both Wisconsin and Tennesse to gain his commitment.

Wisconsin still has several recruits announcing commitments in the next few days, including four-star defensive lineman Benedict Umeh and four-star running back Darrion Dupree. Dupree has crystal ball predictions for the Badgers, while Umeh as several for Stanford.

2024 offensive lineman Ronan O’Connell plans to announce his commitment on Tuesday at 2 p.m. EDT.

O’Connell will decide his commitment among Tennessee, Wisconsin and ClemsonThe 6-foot-5, 260-pound prospect announced his top three schools on May 23.

O’Connell is from Fred J. Page High School in Franklin, Tennessee. He officially visited Tennessee on June 23 and unofficially visited the Vols on March 25 and May 27.

O’Connell earned Class 5A all-state honors as a junior in 2022. He also earned Region 6-5A MVP and first-team all-region honors.

The in-state prospect is the No. 17 2024 recruit in Tennessee, on the 247Sports composite. He also ranks as the No. 43 2024 offensive line recruit.

Wisconsin has several decision dates to monitor in the coming days

Some within the Wisconsin football building may be working tomorrow on July 4. The program will await 2 p.m. Eastern, when class of 2024 three-star offensive tackle Ronan O’Connell will announce his college decision.

O’Connell has Wisconsin in his top three schools alongside Tennessee and Clemson. The Franklin, Tennessee native is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 595 recruit in the class, No. 43 offensive tackle and No. 17 recruit from his home state.

247Sports.com does currently list three crystal ball predictions for O’Connell: one by Wisconsin Insider Evan Flood for Clemson and two by Tennessee Insider Ryan Callahan and Director Of Recruiting Steve Wiltfong for Tennessee.

Wisconsin’s class of 2024 currently ranks No. 29 in the nation with 15 total commitments. That number has a chance to grow with O’Connell, Umeh and Dupree announcing decision in the coming days.

Three-star class of 2024 offensive lineman Ronan O’Connell has Wisconsin in his final three schools. The 6-foot-4, 280-pound athlete from Franklin, Tennessee has narrowed his list to Tennessee, Clemson and Wisconsin.

The Badgers continue to churn out great offensive linemen year in and year out, so if O’Connell decided to head to Madison, he’d be making a strong decision for his professional chances. Two 2022 Badger offensive lineman are now on NFL teams with Joe Tippmann (2nd round, NYJ) and Tyler Beach (UDFA, HOU) making the step up.

At this point, Wisconsin has already earned the commitment of three-star offensive tackle Derek Jensen (Hartland, WI) as well as quarterback Mabrey Mettauer and tight ends Grant Stec and Rob Booker on the offensive side.

In-state interior offensive lineman announces top three schools

Tennessee is one of three schools for 2024 in-state offensive lineman Ronan O’Connell.

Three-star offensive lineman Ronan O’Connell announced his top three schools on Tuesday.

Tennessee, Wisconsin and Clemson are the top three schools for O’Connell.

The 6-foot-5, 260-pound offensive lineman is from Fred J. Page High School in Franklin, Tennessee.

O’Connell is the No. 620 overall prospect and No. 46 interior offensive lineman in the class of 2024. He is the No. 2 interior offensive lineman and No. 16 player in Tennessee, according to On3 industry rankings.

O’Connell earned Class 5A all-state honors last season as a junior. He was also named Region 6-5A MVP, while earning first-team all-region honors.

Tennessee is the leader in O’Connell’s recruitment, according to the On3 recruiting prediction machine. He unofficially visited Tennessee on March 25.

Tennessee football is ranked as favorites for multiple top 2024 prospects.

Third-year Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel and his staff continue to recruit future Vols.

2024 four-star edge prospect Kellen Lindstrom announced his commitment to Tennessee on Friday. He is the eleventh 2024 commitment for the Vols.

Lindstrom joins cornerback Kaleb Beasley, defensive lineman Carson Gentle, athlete Marcus Goree Jr., wide receiver JJ Harrell, athlete Jonathan Echols, quarterback Jake Merklinger, offensive tackle Jesse Perry, offensive tackle Gage Ginther and safety Edrees Farooq and defensive lineman Jeremias Heard as commitments in the Vols’ 2024 class.

Tennessee’s 2024 class ranks ninth nationally and fifth in the Southeastern Conference.
