The Wisconsin Badgers offered Enarri White, a three-star class of 2026 safety from Weldon, North Carolina, on Wednesday. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound athlete is a sophomore at Weldon High School and still has two years of high school football before he’d make the jump to the collegiate level.

White has gotten interested from Michigan and Ohio State within the Big Ten, and has picked up official offers from Baylor and LSU. His recruitment will certainly heat up as time goes on. As seen in his X profile, White also has experience operating as a wide receiver at Weldon High.

Coming as no surprise, Wisconsin has yet to receive any commitments from recruits in the class of 2026, but they have offered a double-digit amount of safeties so far as well as two other athletes from North Carolina, five-star quarterback Faizon Brandon and four-star cornerback Samari Matthews.

Brother of Wisconsin cornerback enters transfer portal

Wisconsin cornerback’s brother enters transfer portal

The NCAA spring transfer portal window is open until April 30 and UCF cornerback Jason Duclona, brother of current Wisconsin Badgers defensive back Jonas Duclona, entered on Wednesday.

Though they were in the same grade, Jason is less than a year younger than his older brother Jonas (350 days apart) and the brothers grew up in south Florida, going to separate high schools. Jason attended Estero High School, while Jonas wanted to stick with his football friends, enrolling in Naples High School.

Both brothers were three-star class of 2023 athletes. Jonas enrolled at UW-Madison while Jason chose to attend UCF. Jason appeared in three games during his freshman season with the Knights, failing to record any stats.

With the Badgers, Jonas played in 12 contests in 2023, totaling three tackles while playing mostly on special teams. Considering the family connection, Jason Duclona could certainly find himself visiting Luke Fickell’s squad in Madison in the near future.

Wisconsin football a finalist for a four-star 2025 offensive tackle

Four-star offensive lineman includes Wisconsin in top 5 programs

Wisconsin football made the top five schools for four-star class of 2025 offensive lineman Logan Powell on Tuesday. Powell is a junior at Brophy College Preparatory School in Phoenix, Arizona, and is still months away from a college decision

In total, the 6-foot-4, 280-pound athlete received 25 Division 1 offers — so Wisconsin being in his top five is certainly notable. Head coach Luke Fickell and new offensive line coach A.J. Blazek will need to compete with Alabama, Arizona State, Oklahoma and Tennessee to reel in Powell their 2025 class.

It should be noted that nine other Big Ten programs offered the offensive tackle, including Michigan, Oregon, USC and Washington.

In the class of 2025, Wisconsin has already secured the commitment of three-star offensive tackle Michael Roeske (Wautoma, WI), while Powell would become the highest-rated recruit of the group if he picks the Badgers.

The Wisconsin Badgers football team was included in the top eight programs for four-star class of 2025 defensive lineman Juju Marks on Sunday.

Marks is a junior at Saint Thomas Aquinas High School in Kansas and he has slowly been narrowing down his potential college destinations.

He is 247Sports’ No. 370 player in the class of 2025, No. 31 offensive tackle and No. 6 recruit from his home state of Kansas.

In total, the 6-foot-7, 270-pound athlete has received 35 Division 1 offers, so Wisconsin being in his top eight certainly is notable. The Badgers are competing with Oregon and USC within the Big Ten, plus Alabama, Ole Miss, Oregon, Tennessee, Kansas and Missouri.

Marks still has plenty of time to make a decision on where he’ll attend college in 2025, but if Luke Fickell and his staff can reel him in, he’d be a huge addition to their recruiting class.

Based on his overall size, Pavey is an intriguing option for Luke Fickell’s staff in Madison, who have not received a commitment on the defensive line for their class of 2025.

Former Wisconsin Badger re-signs with Houston Texans

Former Wisconsin football player re-signs with Texans

The NFL Draft begins Thursday and some athletes around the league are still finding new homes in free agency, but former Wisconsin running back Dare Ogunbowale is staying with his current team, signing a one-year deal with the Houston Texans.

Ogunbowale will return to Houston for a third consecutive season with the team. In 2023, the running back most notably nailed a 29-yard field goal in the team’s 39-37 win over the Buccaneers in Week 9.

When it comes to his traditional position, Ogunbowale turned eight carries into 35 yards while also adding two receptions for 18 yards over 12 contests last season. He’ll likely vie for reps behind Joe Mixon and Dameon Pierce in 2024.
