2024 four-star edge prospect Kellen Lindstrom announced his commitment to Tennessee on Friday. He is the eleventh 2024 commitment for the Vols.

Lindstrom joins cornerback Kaleb Beasley, defensive lineman Carson Gentle, athlete Marcus Goree Jr., wide receiver JJ Harrell, athlete Jonathan Echols, quarterback Jake Merklinger, offensive tackle Jesse Perry, offensive tackle Gage Ginther and safety Edrees Farooq and defensive lineman Jeremias Heard as commitments in the Vols’ 2024 class.

The Vols have five 2024 commitments, headlined by four-stars Jonathan Echols (athlete), JJ Harrell (wide receiver) and Kaleb Beasley (cornerback).

The Vols have the No. 9 overall recruiting class and No. 5 recruiting class in the Southeastern Conference, according to the On3 consensus.

Tennessee landed its first wide receiver commitment with Harrell. Harrell is the No. 13 wide receiver in the class of 2024, according to On3.

Tennessee offers 2024 wide receiver Brandon Heyward

Tennessee Vols’ football recruiting news.

Tennessee and head coach Josh Heupel have offered 2024 wide receiver prospect Brandon Heyward.

The 5-foot-10, 162-pound Heyward is from Oak Ridge High School in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

He recorded 45 receptions, 643 receiving yards and seven touchdowns for Oak Ridge in 2020. The Wildcats appeared in the 5A state championship game last season.

Heyward scored the Wildcats’ lone touchdown in the state championship game, a 28-7 loss to Summit High School.

The 2024 wide receiver prospect attended a camp at Tennessee on June 4.

Heyward has scholarship offers from Tennessee, Pittsburgh, Michigan State and Marshall.
